Hi GWE! I just finished my first grow and on the curing process, as I read on the forums, I'm hearing about, the curing process will not go right unless I have Humdipaks in my jars, cause if RH reaches below 62% the curing process stops. So, do I need a Humdipak in my jars? Or can it be without it?

You will see people split on humdipacks. You don't have to use them for a successful cure but you will need to keep a close eye on how buds are curing. I like using them after the first week or two of cure and they are great for long term storage.
 
I guess it wont hurt to have a few, im in the first week of curing, and intend to for about a month or more, cause keeping a close eye on buds is not good when you don't know what your looking at.

You do not need to use humidity packs, to be successful. You do need to keep your humidity in your jars between 60% and 65% for the best results. 62% Bovida packs just make it easy to keep the humidity right.
 
some use Boveda packs (62% RH) Note: some grower say that the "pack" hinder taste. Have personalty experienced this. But for long term storage (3 mos' longer) might consider them - they do work but one suffers with lost taste
 
Steve makes a very good point. On this cure I used the packs for a few days and then took them out for a few days and repeated that process. I figure that once the jar gets to 62%, a few days of opening the jar won't change it too much, and then the pack goes back in for a few days to make sure, and so on.
I do not have enough experience to agree or disagree with the taste issue, but why not avoid the problem all together. Thanks steve.

That's not what Nebula says on GWE: I think it has to go below 57% to terminate the cure:

I cured my first grow for around 4 weeks just "burping" my jars as recommended, but then I put 62% Boveda paks in the jars for the long-term cure. They really aren't necessary if you have a good hygrometer to make sure you are staying in the correct range each step of the way.
