Hey all! I'm 3 days away from my 3 year growversary and I'm starting my 12th grow. I've learned so much from this website that words truly cannot express my gratitude for having stumbled upon this site just over 3 years ago.

Here's my stats and lineup for this round. Nothing has changed, but if you haven't seen my grows before, here is a summary:

4 55w auto cobs
3x3x6 tent
Megacrop main nutrient
megacrop sweet candy
Megacrop bud explosion
Calmag
Silica Blast

I currently have Grow 11 still underway, so I'll be starting 2 and adding one later on. My lineup currently is:

Bubba Kush by Dinafem
Mass Shooter by Garden of Green

I have quite a few choices for my 3rd and final pic, but I'm not sure which one I will choose just yet.

Off to the races we go!

Thanks! This one has been a handful lol. She is an auto, but my light schedule is 24/0, and she never transitioned to flower. So she is 98 days in and I switched the light schedule to 20/4 to see if she can start flowering without going all the way down to 12/12.

And there is no LST about it lol. I'm all about the HST. I do the quadline method. The link is in my signature if ya want to take a look. Ive done all my grows this way since grow 7 and have not looked back!

i'll for sure have a look, i'm still a newbiew 1y and a half of grow here! not even heard of HST ahah for i love the way they look, trying my first grow at 24/0 aswell in an auto let's see how it goes !
 
LOL well congratulations mcubed476 on your growing. Man you got a huge surprise " phoauto" LOL can't wait to see her bloom :) did i just coin a name?? ohhh i better get the lawyer and copywrite that....;)
 
mcubed476 That's a nice healthy looking plant. I'm sure you have much more experience with autos than I do. With that being said, if it was mine at 98 days I would have to assume they slipped a photo seed in the pack. I'd go 12-12 and lose about half the foliage for max. light and start flower neuts. But that's just me bro, not trying to tell you what to do. Grow on cube dude.
 
PRIMO - it's very possible! So far, I've had around 4 or 5 plants not flower automatically, and I pulled every one of them except this one. I will eventually go down to 12/12 if thats what it takes, but i do want to see if she will start flowering with some darkness. My theory is that since photos need a signal from the sun to go to flower (there is less light, let's flower up!), im hoping having any dark period at all might signal this one to do the same. Also, with 20 hours of light, I can still start my other ones and not have to worry about them going into flower too early.

This has happened often enough to make me wonder if some autos aren't AS automatic as others. Maybe some just need a little push lol. We will find out!

Sorry, I ramble sometimes lol.

HST is just high stress training. Things like topping, supercropping, and mainlining.

24/0 has done very well for me, but i have had about 4 or 5 autos that never flowered on their own. Ive grown around 40 or so plants by now, so about 10%. Whether they got mixed up with photo, or need some dark time to turn to flower, I do not know. But I'm testing my theory currently by going to 20/4 for a couple weeks.
 
Today is day 17 for Bubba Kush and Mass Shooter.

They are looking great so far. Training will start shortly!

I ended up pulling the violet kush from grow 11 because I realized that it was in preflower and was not progressing into the stretch. At the height it was, it wouldn't have grown very well in my tent. It would have been up in the lights, and I feel super cropping would not give room for any other plant to grow.

Also, my daughter was born on the 1st, and due to the hospital stay, the plant was pretty dried up when I got home. This was another factor that lead to my decision.

Eventually ill get another plant in for this grow, but ill have to find the time a different day. I have a daughter to attend to.

Very good news the heck with the plant having a child is fantastic. Is she your 1st ? Oh such joy ( i can say that now LOL ) oh those tiny little hands holding on to your fingers, my hubby just melted. :love:
 
Today is day 28 for Mass Shooter and Bubba Kush, and day 6 for Purple Lemonade by FastBuds.

The older girls are looking great, and Mass Shooter is already spitting hairs. I believe I see the start ofnhairs on the Bubba as well.

So far, Purple Lemonade is looking great! I do love the purple strains. They don't seem to get me as high, but they sure are beautiful to grow.
