stunted growth

Rookie grower here- I first want to thank you for all of the great information here, could not have done this without it. I used the Kind soil method without nutrients and the air pots to prevent over-watering, and used auto blue dream feminized seeds. I am using the space buckets and I did use the topping method after 7 weeks. I started with two plants, just harvested the first one after 16 weeks. Although both plants have nice buds on them, they are stunted- the plant I just harvested was only 7" tall. Also, the base of the plant was a huge mass of leaves, buds and some kind of white flowers? I am wondering if the cause of the stunted growth is from using the air pots or could it be nutrient related? The photo is after trimming and 3 days of drying. The spacebuckets have 4 cfl bulbs each.

IMO look to your lights, avoid over watering

of concern here is your pic:

Do note that you have your plant drying under some rockwool insulation
rockwool is glass fibers, leaching onto your drying weed
then you smoke that weed with those glass fibers in it

if this be mine I'd gently wash in air temp water,
just one dunk should dislodge any glass fibers on the plant material

hang to dry as normal

pabear boy a photo of that plant would of been good before harvest. First time or two with them you'll learn more those autos can be very small. I've had some real short ones without much more than a few grams. Chalk it up on environment cause your soil, pots and feeding sounds good. What type of lighting do you use?

Sure would of like to seen that mass of leaves, buds and some kind of white flowers your talking about LOL and congrats on your harvest it's a heck of a lot bigger than my first auto
