How much of the stuff that comes in bags - not brick - to fill 2 x 38L pots; does it expand much?

I just wanted to know if it expanded much in water in loose form and by how much so I know how much to get. I'll be using pure coco. I've ordered an 11L block to have a play with it.

You don't want to use pure coco, it'll be waterlogged. You need between 30% and 50% perlite depending on pot size to lighten it up and provide some drainage.
