Autoflower vs photoperiod

I am retired. All I do is watch the health of my plant and bowl lol.

Any ideas and help would be appreciated.

Lets start a GWE bowling league, that would be so much fun! And whoever gets me on their team will get a high handicap every week because I am terrible bowler. I took my team to the league championship 2 years in a row because of that. LOL

We have some fem photo White Widow and some Auto White Widow on the way. Maybe I'll suggest to hubby that we do a side by side grow. except give the auto the longer light cycle.

Once my current grow photoperiod plants are all flowered-ripen, I plan on growing auto's for the most part of the year:
Veg the photoperiod for 8 weeks during the hot summer- as high heat is less an issue in veg.

Chit, who needs THC that high? I'd be on my ass for days. A person still has to function. Anyway, I now use seedsman and gyo green. Both have tons of auto choices. A lot of them are high CBD, but there are also many with low CBD and high THC. I'm new to this game, but what I've been seeing here at the forum, and with Green75 experiments with topping and training, autos seem the wave of the future.

Stock pile your seeds kids, before the well runs dry.......or they crackdown on seeds coming into US.

Hi Biker

How much harvest do you want? with 2 plants I get lots for me. That has been with photos, I'm not in a hurry but if I was auto's is the choice.

My current personal use is about an ounce a month. I would like to be able to stockpile quite a bit, I never know what the future might bring. Once I get a few harvests in I may change my mind but as is quoted here a lot 'weed will get you through times of no money better than money will get you through times of no weed' lol. I hate running out.

Hi mate...excellent question. If you go back awhiles Auto`s were considered a nightmare however due to stealth and ease of lights/ speed/costs they were still a viable option. I learnt to grow with those and man I made some woefully bitter mistakes which had the mighty Norse gods of old weeping into their mead. What did I find, they kick ass hit wise around a pokey 8-9 out of 10 if given the right grow and time. They are not light weights in that department. If you get 3-5 ounces out of a plant I`d be happy with that, more and I would imagine it would be hydro or C02. The main issue for me is something that does haunt them a bit...unstable genetics. Whilst a third of my auto`s either fail or come up growing like all the Nitrogen in the world is in them re: the claw, etc the others 2/3rds go fine. Sometimes all you get off this 3rd are trim but most you can still bring to harvest and get a healthy potent return for your efforts but in my books, auto`s are harder to master, more unstable and if inexperienced like me, harder to correct/adjust due to all the negative views/ info out there. I love them, I run two grows of those to every 12/12 just to keep me interested, they`re great and the 12/12 lighting just slows them a tad that`s all...stay mellow mate :)

Bikerstonrr...the only way I have achieved it was by circle LST but you have to watch very carefully for mold within the actual buds but yeah, you`ll hit it no probs :)
