Has anyone used Earth Juice to adjust the PH. I ask this because I was reading the info on the Kind Soil web site and this is what they recommend using. In the past I have used PH up and Down. I am just wondering if this is something else I should invest in.

I imagine they're just boosting their brand. If you already have pH Up/Down, I'd suggest just staying with 'em. It's just acid and base after all, really.

Thanks that is what I was thinking but I wanted someone more experienced
to give me their feedback. Being fairly new at this and this being my first time using Kind Soil. They also recommend removing the chlorine from the water what do you think. I did not do this last year

Thats strange because kind isn't part of earth juice....

Kind is its own entity all they make is one thing, soil..

They Recommend Earth juice pH up or down not their nutrients.

The reason they referred you to that is you are not suppose to use anything but natural/organic pH solutions with kind.

You dont have to use earth juice but it should be similar natural or organic with kind.

Right from kinds site.

They say to use spring or distilled if you have bad tap water. If you are on city just let your jugs evaporate if your on well you should be fine as long as starting ppms are not outrageous.

Yeah, Kind has got their own flakes now, but before that, Mr Kind told me to only use EarthJuice Crystals with your KindSoil, other wise your are going to have bad trouble with the other varieties of up-down.Killing all the good stuff.

GH pH up contains potassium which the plant needs more, during flower to increase bulk and density.
ie- I do not need to pH adjust my grows, but the yields are much better when I add pH up- not in response to the pH, but for potassium- one of the 3 essential nutrients of NPK.

Yep,you have all Kinds of beneficial microorganisms in that Kind soil that really help take care of your plants health, so you only want to ad organic substances that won't harm them. That is one reason they say not to water with chlorinenated city water as well.

Back when I was on city water, I started letting my water sit for my plants, like Urbz said, it helped a lot, then I got to thinking, well, if the chlorine is bad for my plants, what about me? So I started filtering it, wow, what a difference that made!! The headaches, and stomach aches I was getting ALL the time, went way down.
