Air filter for dust?

I have a dust problem indoors and outside. does any one have a filter set up for dust? looking for cheap and easy, like a six inches in line fan, with a big old washable engine air filter. smell not a concern clean intake air for the tent is.

I got a tent . I would like to force filtered air through the top. I would like to only have a single filter to change. I just need a can filter without the carbon, just a dust Sox or filter.

It helps to have a filter wherever the intake air is coming, especially if the air is coming from outside. If the grow tent is in a room or basement that's dusty, it can also help a lot to just scrub the whole room down, vacuum, wipe down the walls, etc. We have a cat and if we want to avoid cat hair all over our buds we have to make sure to vacuum the house regularly so we're not tracking it into the grow room
