Just so I understand the experiment. You are basically doing everything to an auto that you traditionally are not supposed to do? To debunk the myth that autos should just be free to do as they please?

Just want to make sure I'm not missing the point of all this. If that is correct,, I wish you well and hope you have great success.

Not necessarily debunk per say.....I just want solid answers....too many on here wondering what they can and cannot do to their autos..... (yes I know all strains are different)...but you have to start somewhere...right?
 
Agreed Green. Thanks for doing this experiment. I really mean that. As the genetics of autos keeps improving, it looks like they are becoming more and more popular. I have 5 bubblegum auto seeds. I will probably just plant 2 to start and perhaps use different methods during the veg period. See which gives the best results before planting the other 3.
 
As someone who is interested in an auto grow next I fully support this experiment and look forward to your updates. BRAVO! and THANKS!
 
I think most often "internet wisdom" is geared towards people with little experience:
Therefore, if something goes wrong with topping/fimming/defoliation etc- recovery time is limited and the grow may be lost.

In skilled hands, I suspect very little difference than the photo strains!
