    Harvest time?

This is my first time growing. I'm getting close to the end and I can't tell when to harvest. I'm growing Doobiebird daydream, and the package said that it can be harvest in 8 weeks. I started flushing at 6 weeks, but I am thinking I started that too early. The past week I started adding nutes again, and thought I'd flush for just a day or two. I don't know if I should continue feeding or should I flush and harvest in a few days? I'm posting pictures. Since I have never done this and have no comparison, it looks to me like the trichomes are cloudy. My plant looks so different than all the pictures I see, so I can't compare how it should look. Thanks

First off welcome to the neighborhood. I think you have a little longer to be ripe, the trichomes in your pic do have some amber but they looks like leaves in the pic and leaves lie. You need to go by the actual bud trichomes and timing is a preference in what you want from your smoke. Less amber you'll get more of a up or energetic high, and the more amber trichomes the more it will lock you to the couch. One more thing is that you will need to check more than one bud on a plant because like fruit they ripen at different rates. I like to let the ones towards the top (which normally ripen 1st) to get alot of amber trichomes and keep it separate from the other with less amber and this will give you a variety some nighttime smoke and some daytime smoke.... hope this helps you out, good luck
