Looks too big for spider mites, they're really tiny.

I agre. That's exactly how spider mites look (like red spiders) but way smaller. You have an actual red spider

Spider mites really are super tiny, microscopic. I don't think I could snap a picture of one with a phone.

Howdy Blazed227, It looks to have eight legs, could be a mite, tick, or spider? I do not know for certain, I've never seen one like that.
Good luck and keep a close eye out for damage to your plants.

Go look around the outside of your house? On steps coming in to it also on door around handle. The outside on steps sidewalk patio you'll see them all the time. On the outside of doors around handle you will see them more at night if there's a bit of light. I know you're picture looks bigger than a spider mite but I can take the same picture in the morning at my warehouse. I consider them spider mites and that s word spray kills them. Spina something? I spray daily to insure they don't come back. They turn white once dead and are still attached to my door . I see them every morning. My .02 or maybe a little more!
