5 days isn't really a long time, be patient.

How are you trying to germinate?
How much/how often are you watering?

just read your post again, have they been soaking in water for 5 days or they've been in rapid rooters or something similar?

    Howdy Phonso53,
It has been my experience that if the seeds have not sprouted within 36 hours they are not viable. What was the temperature of the area and medium where You were germinating the seeds. They need to be kept warm, I keep mine around 80°-90° F. while they lay on a wet (pH 5.5) paper towel (in contact with, but not floating in the water). Some folks like to expose the seeds to the light, but I keep my in an aluminum pan covered with foil.
I hope that You have better luck with the next batch of seeds.
    Smoke weed,.....grow peace!
