    General Questions

    Hey Everyone,

This is my first grow and I have 3 plants right now in flowering. They have a 250w MH bulb, which I know is not enough for this many plants, but I only have CFL that I can add to the room at the moment hopefully in a few weeks I will have 2 more LED panels. Is it a good idea to add some CFL's around the plants to supplement the MH? I currently have a 250w LED panel in my grow room and I could also shift that over and replace my grow room with CFL..

These 3 plants have been in flowering for about 60 days now and 20 days ago I changed from 12-12 to 10-14. I am using PH Perfect.. The 2nd and 3rd plants had a small PH problem a week ago, but they are getting back into balance right now.

Any thoughts, comments or concerns on these?

it's definitely possible to grow 3 plants with a 250W, just depends of the yields you're after. The link below is for a 250W HPS (which has a better spectrum for flowering), not MH, but it demonstrates my point that 250W is sufficient.

Welcome GG ( and Jeg you are so cool) the first note is yeah you have plants! ( how did you germinate if I may ask?)
what is your your medium? Also what is your nutrient ? PH perfect is a line right? Also are you pH ing your Input of feed/ water independent of what the line says. I know I have questions and no answers (but one). Also your grow environment i.e. Tent? Closet? Your help needs to know.
my best suggestion is right now you need to be on 12/12. If you switch to 11/13 at the end that is another matter. Lessening the light without enough light ( if that is the case actually) you are depriving your plants by reducing the hours. Ed Rosenthall's advice is sound for 11/13 some folk think. Personally I stay at 12/12 for flower.
Your first grow all given is good. Less light not good. Tips of leaves indicate nute burn not totally a bad thing. edges of leaves maybe pH problem. Really- there is no pH perfect otherwise we'd all be doing it.
please post your medium, your environment....so others can advise.
Welcome to a great place and glad to have you!

No no no major miscommunication. I was just stoned and cutting up. I meant no disrespect to tika and thought I apologized to tika. Maybe I didn't. My brain forgets stuff all the time. Anyway if you've read any of my other posts I'm a cut up and don't take myself serious at all. But still sorry for the bad vibes!

Hey Everyone, thanks for the responses.
The seeds were germinated wet paper towel method, and after the seedling came out I transferred them right into the growing medium. Initially I was using a CFL setup, but now have LED for grow room and the MH for flowering. The medium is succulant/cactus soil (which already includes perlite) The line of nutrients is PH perfect. I check the PH the water after nutrients are added and add PH up or down to keep it anywhere from 5.8-6.2. The flowering room I have is a home build PVC room with black plastic wrapped around the frame and then white poster board on the inside for reflective purposes. The temperature of the room stays between 75-85. I use air conditioning to keep the temperatures down. Also it sometimes gets a little humid.

I'm not sure about the cactus/succulent soil but if it's anything like normal soil I'm surprised you're not having nutrient problems (especially phosphorus which is very important for flowering) due to low pH

Hey Grower, welcome to the forum!!!

What strain are they? They have sativa characteristics, which may account for the slow flowering...

Honestly I don't know the strain. For the first grow I was just messing around a little and took seeds I had laying around to see the results. I do think that the 1st one and the 2nd one in the pictures are Sativa and the 3rd (larger one) looks like an indica.
