    Grow with LED

I recently bought a 135 watt UFO full spectrum LED light. About 10 & 3/4 inches in diameter. I have some news Sprouts about a inch and a half tall and need to know how close I should put that light above the new seedlings? Also, should I have the light on 24 7 or 18 to 20 hours a day? They are in a closet right now but there is a small fan even though there is almost no heat from the bulbs.

I run an LED over my seedlings, 15 inches away, 18 hours on 6 off, but you'll most likely want to consult your manufacturers recommendations for your particular model.

Man I have a 600watt led that I put about 40inches away from my seedling. Bit of a guess here, but I reckon you could have it about 15inch away since it is a low wattage light. If they start to grow taller and look a bit to lanky move it a few inches closer. If they start to yellow on the top and look like they have slight light burn move it away. Also search up some sites on google bro! Because you have to change the distances through out veg and bloom!

light is up to you but at least 18 hours on per day until the switch to flower. Growers commonly use 18/6 20/4 or 24/0

Thanks for the advice everyone I will give it a shot and let you know what happens. I have about 7 plants in a 2x4 tent with a 600 watt metal halide and HPS system going.two are clones of some sherbert I got from a buddy but they seem to be hanging around instead of just growing. The others started from a seed and our energy strain and we're started outside and they are only 8 inches maybe 9. About five to six weeks old. Looking very healthy but short and stocky. Just started a tea nutrient since the ocean Forest has run its course. I have the light hanging about 24 inches above the canopy. Maybe I am just a little impatient but I see pictures online of plants being two foot tall and only five or six weeks old. Any suggestions?

I only plan on having them about 3 foot tall before I start the flower stage. I hope it will be a big enough area.

My other post was supposed to say the short plants are an og strain. I have heard some plants genetics a shorter Plant and some are taller. Thanks
