Don't worry about the purpling - you have calcium/magnesium deficiency - I use CaliMagic by General Hydroponics. Get some or something similar and your plant will love you for it.

looks more like a phosphorus deficiency to me, especially since you said you pH to 6 which in soil means your plant is pretty much getting minimal to no phosphorus.
Phosphorus deficiencies cause dark splotches on leaves and can appear at the bottom of the plant on some of the oldest leaves. Learn to spot & fix the issue.

I noticed it looks a little droopy/limp in the pictures. Is it getting plenty of light? Sometimes plants look a little limp when they're not getting enough light.

Also, is it taking a long time to dry out between waterings? I only ask because with young plants like this, especially in big containers, "wet feet" can sometimes cause symptoms that look like nutrient deficiencies even if the pH is right and the nutrients are there.

Overall looks good though, it'll bounce right back with a little TLC

Check the pH of your run off. Raise the pH to 7 maybe if you been running 6 for a month.

Just out of curiosity has your growth been slow? Looks similar to my issue, ive been growing in 16l fabric pots (coco) with ph bang on 6.
im gunna up my PH abit as I dose calmag. I had slow growth too.

Could you post a picture to the forum? Someone might be able to spot why if they can see your plant in the setup

Geniuses... I raised the PH, added a touch more cal mag, watered less, and kaboom !!! the girls are off to the races.
Unbelievable how little tweaks can turn things around in a hurry.
I highly recommend hanging out here and soaking up the knowledge from these folks. (BRILLIANT)

glad to hear we were able to help and you're back on the right track. If you've got any friends that grow tell them this is the place to be!
Plenty of articles with great information over on the main GWE website to read through. I've read them all at least once even if they don't apply to my growing style.

Did you happen to notice what the plant looked like when this problem started? I have a very similar issue with my Papaya and White Widow. I'm going to try CaliMagic like Canuck recommended. Glad your ladies are happy again!
