>Which plant are you harvesting i forgot with all the posts an questions. You don't have to flush anymore as i'm sure you hopefully are not giving anymore nutes? I kinda remember you had a photoperiod and a auto flower? Are you checking trichomes???
I'm not harvesting anything right now. From what I understand I have a few weeks to go. I thought in those few weeks I'm supposed to be flushing with regular ph'ed water. I've stopped giving it nutes but I'm wondering if that's what's causing the problems I'm having. As far as the trichomes go the autoflower is starting to turn amber and the photoperiod is almost all amber but I'm waiting for the last of them to turn

This will give you the info for harvesting, last Sundays news letter
by Nebula Haze When it comes to growing weed outdoors, figuring out the perfect time to harvest is both an art and a science. However, getting the harvest timing just right rewards you with maximum yields of the best quality buds. Today’s tutorial on when to harvest outdoor marijuana plants first tells you what to...

If what you say is true about photoperiod being almost all amber you've put the plant into death spiral mode. I would not feed it .

It's probably safer for you to give nutes all the way to harvest, just taper them down the last 2 to 3 weeks.
I notice no difference to the smoke or effects either way and dropping the nutes on some large plants with lots of big buds can cause issues such as the plant aborting the flower and the beginning of mold.
Just remember an outdoor plant in soil will take nutes all the way till it dies or is harvested and those nutes are identical to your synthetic nutes.

????
Literally every guide I've read says that you want the trichomes on your plant to be amber before harvesting

Check out the link Rwise posted and this
Harvesting cannabis at the right time is just as important as how you grow the plant. Harvest marijuana buds too soon and you lose potency and yields; too late and you can end up making a batch of sleep medicine. Learn how to harvest at the perfect time, every time! Here's what you need...
It will help

>Depends what you like and what your growing...getting mine to full amber is a tough slog too. I prefer mostly whites and just a few ambers...last grow were pretty much all whites.
OK looks like I messed up my terminology. The hairs are almost all brown on my photoperiod. Not the trichomes. And the hairs on my auto are about 30% brown now

Flushing, IMO, is pure broscience. Same with the whole " leave 'em in the dark for a set period". The ONLY time flushing is appropriate is as a last resort to your having flooded the rhizosphere with toxic levels of nutrient or pH in an attempt to reset the media/root relationship. Of course the fact that you have to flush at all is a discussion in itself but that's a whole other topic.
Tapering, which I define as laddering down the PPM's of your feed ratios, is a good way of removing ions already in the plant to achieve a smoother, tastier hit anecdotally speaking. Personally, I haven't noticed a difference but I taper more for peace of mind than anything tactile.

Looks like a dieing plant. Why did you allow all the root mass on top of the soil? This the same plant you posted from 9-5? Wow she uprooted itself or ???
