Get Help for Cannabis Plants Problems as Quickly as Possible!

Hi all, my second time growing this auto strain - Magnum. Didn't face many issues during the first one bit the current grow is presenting these spots which are kinda weird as it doesn't seem to be a nutrient issue, following Nebula's schedule. The plant still looks overall pretty healthy and the spots are starting from the bottom leaves. I'm growing indoor hydro, temps running from 76-81, humidity 43-48% at 27 days. Topped and LST.

Any ideas?

I think you do have a nutrient problem that is likely because of low pH and may be made worse by your environment and watering schedule. Whatever is going on is showing as a calcium deficiency in the leaf and I suspect may have been around for a while.

Additionally you need to be disciplined for torturing your plants like that. When you LST don't wrap it around the leaves like that, just the stem. You're creating hot spots for disease and pests doing that.

I assume you are growing in coco. Is it recycled?

If so give them a good flush with nutes in your water with a pH of 6.2. You can add a suppliment like calimagic.

Raise RH to about 60 if you can. Temps are pretty good

It's hydro. I suspected of calcium deficiency before and was already using calimagic which I upped a bit last time, this is my last refill breakdown (PH 6.00):

Any problem that caused the rust/brown spots may be gone.

Are you running an air stone in your hydro tank?

Check the pH between top ups and completely empty your tank often rather than topping.

The only hydro I've done is in coco so I can't offer much.

2 stones, I was having the issue since last water cycle, so it seems it is still here. Tested PH before and during the last cycle pretty stable around 6.

Looks like a PH issue from here, Leaf Septoria spots are round often with a pimple and a dark spot in the center (that would be the spore). So what PH are you running? Are those rocks coco? IF so were they treated/prepped before the grow?

clay pebbles, they are not in contact with the water and were washed before use. PH = 6

Double checked the PH and it was low this time around 5.30 so you all might be right. Also the nutrient absorption by PH chart shows some nutrients are better absorbed above 6 and I was keeping it pretty tight there. Adjusted to 6.20 to watch for a few days.

Given its a hydro setup and pumped around check the pH daily and adjust to keep it 6 to 6.2. If it's dropping as it appears to be bring it up a tad further, say 6.3 and monitor it to make sure it does drop. Varying the pH in this range is more beneficial than not varying it.

Yeah that makes sense, the other cycles was pretty stable so I assumed it wasn't the issue but this last one the drop was significant so will definitely keep an eye on that

These are outdoor , been a bit wet if anything, but good access to sun , generally healthy, about 5 weeks old, in “Kis” mix Black Swallow brand organic living soil. 15g fabric pots
temps have been in a good range 15 to 30 C
There appear to be no bug problems

Likely low pH at the roots.
Dolomite lime to bring up pH. Bit of epsom salts for some extra mag.

Treating with Epsom salts.
I’m not sure the Dolomite lime will adjust the soil quick enough for these plants, even in powder form.
I’m going to add it to my next grows soil in advance and hope to keep my ph in the best zone. My water is a bit low at 6.2 6.3 I think it’s pulling it out of range.
Sure wish I could afford the blue lab PH soil meter, I’m not confident in slurry test results. Maybe some day if I save my pennys

The lime will add cal at the root zone immediately which will go well with the epsom for mag as best to treat for both. You can maybe top dress with a light sprinkle which will bring the pH up immediately. I've only added it when making soil and not during a grow. I wouldn't use much just enough to adjust the pH going in into the zone.
Measuring runoff pH is so inaccurate if you use the results to make changes it will lead to bigger problems and deficiencies so go by what the plant is telling you. I'm using recycled recycled coco which is really stable now in a stable environment with stable feeding and getting wildly varying runoff results that are so far out of range if it were reflective of the pH at the roots my plants would be dead and not thriving.

Is the manure decomposed before adding it? If not it will be breaking down into nitrates mostly in your soil for many months and continue to add nitrogen for the entire flowering period.

Drooping leaves might point to over watering. Do your plants get a chance to dry out between watering? You said you flushed it twice... make sure it dries out between. Not having any N for a month would make me feel the plant would use up any nitrogen in the soil by now. PH should be about 6.5 for soil so check your run off water

I added compost to the soil three months ago. The weather is hot here and the soil dries completely. And I water every day because the plant gets tired from the heat .The soil is very light and quickly drains and loses water. Of course, I suspect irrigation. All my plants are irrigated and maintained in the same way. This plant is like this.

Help - upper leaf tips curling up, brown spots, some yellow between the veins, and some pistils turning brown.

First time growing indoors...last time was outdoors and almost 50 years ago. Yikes.

I live in the newly liberated state of Maryland and thought I would give it a try. My two plants, both fem and autoflower but different strains, were germinated on July 11 and planted on the 15th. They are planted in pots that are probably too small (2 gallons), using a potting mix. My light is Spider Farmer SF 2000 with a dimmer and which I like quite a bit. Growing in an open room with a fan blowing (not on the plants), temps in the low 70's, RH is about 60%. One plant is doing quite well and is sporting lots of young Colas. The other is doing okay and has the leaf/pistil problem.

I think it might be light burn on the one plant so I've lowered it further from the LEDs. Now it is about 20" instead of 14" and I've reduced the power to 80%. Ideas? Thanks in advance. Allen

What if anything are you feeding and what type of medium are they growing in? Fabric or plastic pot? I think you may of solved part of the issues with raising the light but during flower you really want to keep the light at full brightness but for now if things start to look better just leave it at 80% and are you running lights 18/6 and do you lift the pots to tell if they are dry? Lots of questions for ya LOL. PS i love these lights with dimmers

Giving the plant a ph of 6.2 and EC of 1.2, the plant is a photoperiod and the yellowing of the leaves started from the bottom up. It’s in the flowering stage and I use Cal-Mag, Canna Boost, Canna zym, PK13/14, and a little bit of rhizotonic (no Canna Flores yet but will be using soon maybe this is causing the deficiency) is grown in dirt with perlite, little bit of lava meel and wormhumus, I’m scared if the yellowing will continue to the buds my yield will be significantly decreased so I need to know, how to solve this problem?

You have started to flower so I'd be upping your EC higher to the recommended amount, 1.6 or whatever the nute manufacturer says for flower/bloom nutes.
The yellowing appears to be because of an N deficiency but you don't want to be giving it more N right now...give it more of the flower nutes and you should be fine...

Help! Is something going on with the curling leaves and tips? I started giving it some Epsom salt (1/4 tablespoon)/liter of water. Using Advanced Nutrients Micro, Grow, and Bloom. Watering about 1 liter every other day. It’s an OG Kush auto in FF Happy Frog soil, 10 gallon fabric pot, 2x2 grow rent, SF1000 LED light at 80 intensity, oscillating fan, exhaust fan on med high. Maybe light too close or intensity too high. Raised lightfrom14” to 17”. Watering 1000ml every other day but started every day since Saturday. pH is 5.9-6.0.

I would look at that light distance 17” is pretty close I think. Seems to me that those taco leaves are the plant trying to protect itself from the light intensity.

PH is low if you’re growing in “soil” as opposed to coco. 6.5 -6.8 is better.
Moving into flower problems will occur more easily than during veg

I don't think it is the light or the heat.
Light stress would only be effecting the top leaves, yours are taco-ing all the way down with hardening margins too.
If you do a proper leaf analysis of those symptoms what do you find?
Your pH meter is not of good quality. Do you have calibration solution and what's it reading?
You need to read up about EC...it refers to the electrical conductivity of the solution you are watering your plants with and you need to know this so you can calculate how much nute solution you need to add to the water..
