Since last time I posted, sadly my young plants died ;( but I learned some valuable information at least. Now with my older plants, they have started to show some signs of a deficiency and the lower leaves are looking droopy while the upper ones are strong and healthy. Any suggestions

I agree with @Bluey.
Tell us more about your grow?

The temperatures are between 18 and 25 degrees Celsius. The humidity has been a little on the higher side a while a go (70%) but now it’s mostly between 45 and 60. The food I gave them last time was (20L): Canna Flores 80ml, Canna Zym 40ml, Canna Rhizotonic 10ml, 60ml Canna Boost, 40ml Fulvanic Acid (new) pH: 6.2 EC: 1.5

The nightime 18⁰C can you get it over 20⁰C?
Ideally you should be at 25 to 29 depending on RH of course of a day and 3 to 4⁰C below that of a night. I'd try lower the upper humidity if you can without lowering your lower humidity also...but match your temps to RH for a VPD of maybe 1 2 to 1.6 and tune that with your lights...the good leaves will tell you everything you need to know

My soil consists of wood scraps, coco’s scraps, rice husks, green compost tree bark, terracottom, chalk and fertiliser. NPK of 15-10-20. This is mixed with I think 1/4 perlite.
my previous mix (which I’m not using now) consisted of: Plagron light mix 50 L, 1/5 perlite, 25 big spoons of plagron mega worm mix, topped of with 15 tablespoons of Eifel gold lava powder.
Which one is better and what do I need to add to my mix for even better results?2 Photos

I got rid of the lower leaves, but now the higher leaves are doing the same as the lower ones. The problem has only risen to the upper leafs now. I personally think it’s a sickness because the plant is not drinking as much as the other one too. I don’t know what to do to fix this. My soil consists of: my previous mix (which I’m not using now) consisted of: Plagron light mix 50 L, 1/5 perlite, 25 big spoons of plagron mega worm mix, topped of with 15 tablespoons of Eifel gold lava powder. And my nutrients consist of: Canna Flores 80ml, Canna Zym 40ml, Canna Rhizotonic 10ml, 60ml Canna Boost, 40ml Fulvanic Acid (new) pH: 6.2 EC: 1.5. Any suggestions?1 Photo

Yeah I'm with rwise, I see some white splotches on there, it doesn't look like powdery mildew to me but it might be. Also, I disagree with the usual practice of stripping yellowing leaves, IF you're doing an organic grow which sounds like the case here. If that's happening from the bottom up, that's usually a sign that the plant is moving nutrients around. Leave the leaves on there until they're dead because it's a bank of nutrients. Perhaps the reason the problem moved to the upper leaves is now the plant is pulling the nutrients out of the upper leaves and into the buds. You might want to consider a worm compost aerated tea to get some nutrients to it more quickly. I don't know though, man, I'm just kind of shooting in the dark

So it looks like there may be some relatively minor problems, but before we get to that, two question.
1. (the most important one) How long have you had them on 12/12 lighting? (The answer to this will decide how urgent the problem is, if there are multiple problems which one is most worth pursuing, and what the best plan would be)
2. What is that metal thing the pots are sitting next to in the pic from post #679?Organic indoor grower - 4x4 tent - 2 Electric Sky 180v3s
Relax, don't worry, less is more...usually!

The lights have been on 12/12 since 21st of January. They were growing perfect the entire grow until the end came along. Now they have been starting to show some yellowish leaves and are starting to look droopy. I have no idea what the white stuff on the leaf is. The metal thingy I think you mean is a chain used to hold the lamp in place. I also use a mirror and because of this the temperatures can rise a lot too. Last max-min I checked it was around 29 degrees! I lowered the lamp to decrease temperatures. The circulation is good as well with two fans. Any suggestions?

You're at the end of your grow...it's giving everything to the flowers, that appears to be what's going on. Can you get pics of the trichomes or pistols if you can't? Heat may not have helped but 29⁰C should be ok for most..it's at the high end of idealLast edited by Bluey; 03-13-2023, 04:22 PM.

That length of time from 12/12 is all we need to know and is pretty much what I suspected. Like Bluey says, you're at the end of your grow and that's just what cannabis plants do at the end of their cycle. They've been in flowering stage for about 7 weeks, and most plants are harvested between 8-10 weeks so you're nearing the end of this grow - good job making it through!
Just like corn or soybeans (Midwestern boy here!) in the fall, they turn brown and dry up and then it's time to harvest. Your plants are doing exactly what they are supposed to do. You'll also notice that they'll start drinking less so be careful to not overwater.
Start looking at the trichomes under a magnifying glass. You'll see them starting to turn cloudy and then amber. There are different guidelines when it comes to using the trichomes to determine readiness, but in general when I see about 10-20% of the trichomes turning amber, that's when I know to harvest. Of course, the best way is to take all the factors into account:
- Length of time in flowering
- Are the pistils orange/brown/amber and curling in?
- What do the trichomes look like?
- What is the overall activity of the plant?
It looks like your pistils still have a little changing to do, but you're getting close to your harvest window. As the days continue, you'll see those start to all turn orange/brown/amber and they'll shrivel in. Continue to be patient and keep notes on how the plant behaves towards the end of flowering so that on your next grow you can adjust your care of them. It looks like you have some pretty healthy plants and you should be pleased with yourself!

Wehee we need a wee bit more info about your plant. Is it Auto or Photoperiod, age of plant, soil or hydro, type of light and distance from plant. And a full plant pic would be good.

Cut the bottom leaves off that are on the dirt. You need to train the plant. It's growing too tall and you have large node spacings which indicates insufficient light....remember light is food for your plant..your leaves look pale in those pics and are flat looking so as abovevon that one.
