No those nutes wont work do to the specific needs of the plant in its vering stages of growth. FF isn't the only thing out there but it is what I use. The investment is worth the rewards. Just make sure the nutes are canabis spacific or learn to make a living soil. I have also seen a pro mix soil at walmart where I live that would work great. I recommend reading GWE website all the way through more than once.

First time poster and grower. Hope this works. I have2 plants form the same bag of weed I bought in DC pot store about an oz. Kalifa kush. It had seeds in the bud so I started a grow with 2 plants. It seems as if there are 2 different plants growing. Anyone have any knowledge or have had the same happen.

It happens all the time, you could have 2 different phenos of ladies (let's hope for this one) or a boy and a girl (not so bad) or 2 different boys (Why Black Dynamite? Why?).

Well if they are 2 totally different looking could be male/female without photo who knows? But i tend to need a pic with questions like this. Good Luck

Hi Everyone. I am new to posting here but have learked around and have learned a lot from the site.
Here is my first grow and my tiny leaves already have spots. I hope it’s not bacteria from warm wet weather, I do have the windows in the room open just a bit and can get humid when it rains not sure if it can cause this. I have also learned it can happen from the ph balance going up or down so Here I am hopefully someone with more experience can help. I try to keep the ph at 6-6.5. I fill a gallon up every time for each plant. I use a regular testing kit with the drops.

When you say you fill a gallon up for each plant do you water them with that amount? If so that's way too much water for those size plants. Also it looks like you are using just a veg light. Does your light have veg and bloom? If it has turn both on.Last edited by buds73; 09-09-2020, 12:10 PM.

Thanks for replying guys and yes I was over watering but I have reduced the amount. I only have veg light on, I thought the bloom light was only for flowering stage but I’ll take your advice right away

This is my first time growing. These girls are 13 days since they sprouted. I noticed that 2 of them are pointing their leaves down and the sides of them are curling. I did just transplant and water them before taking these pics. I'm using foxfarms ocean forest and water ph around 5.8-6.5. What could be causing this?4 Photos

Start a whole independent post just tell us all about what these strains are, soil, lights and ask away. Good grow

Plant is droopy and has some kind of infestation I think...
Need help urgently
I saw the infestation a month ago, I monitored the plant for 2 weeks there was no sign of the infestation anymore. For the past week the plant has become droopy and signs of infestation increased but no sign of the bug, I can see very little white flies at night but don’t know if that’s the cause because I can’t find anything online
I give the plant 700 ml of water every 2 or 3 days
This is my first time growing. Help plz

Looks like it could be leaf miner damage.

They didn't appear overnight, that thing is probably a couple of weeks old. Odds are he was born within a few inches to a foot of where you found him, he's been an eating machine since birth. That's poop all over the leaves, he can't reproduce and his mother only laid one egg per plant most likely. Not necessarily every plant but usually only one egg per plant. Hopefully no other moths or butterflies thought it would be a good idea to lay eggs in the same plant/s which could definitely happen outside.
-
yeah, they were outside for most of the time. I brought them into the tent when things got sketchy outside. I'll be passing them off to their owner for him to deal with while I clean my tent. No idea how to do that, really. Spray it down with bleach solution and vacuum?.
I'll be giving him Monterey BT to spray them with

I wouldn't spray anything on those flowering plants. They're not microscopic, just stay vigilant and search and pick them off by hand. As for the grow area, you don't need to do anything at all to clean for them. You may have brought in much worse pests that you can't see though so a thorough cleaning would be prudent.
All it took was 1 or 2 moths to get into my grow room to wreak havoc on my last auto run. Moths and butterflies are not friends to cannabis, kill them on sight and don't let them get away. Afterwards stay extra vigilant as they may have laid eggs in your plants. Most of the ones we deal with will only lay one tiny egg in the top of each plant or top. Again, maybe not every top but they typically only lay one egg at a time so you won't have several caterpillars on one plant or top unless you're dealing with more than one egg layer or one of the much less common species that lay several eggs in a cluster at one time.
They do a lot of damage in a short time but they are probably the easiest pest to deal with other than fungus gnats since they're big enough to see and with only one per plant once you've found the culprit and removed it, that plant is probably safe from then on. I wouldn't use chemicals to deal with them, especially in flower.

Good evening everybody.
Sorry for my english.
I did my first growing 2 years ago outdoor and it was not a failure but i did almost nothing for it. This is my first time growing indoor, i wanted more control.
I have 4 plants in a 1m*1m tent, i am useing Coco soil with 600w led light 18/6 around 5 weeks old.
A few days ago i did discovered one of my plant's leaves has mark on it. When i saw it, i did a search and find more leaves is looking wierder then it should. No sign of pests.
This is a pineapple chunk strain.
-On the first picture the leave side is like dry out.
-On the second one two leaves aint straight. (it just not look right)
-On the third one the leaves has light green or fading color and other leaves have to.
No similar or any other symptoms on the other plants.
Second question, What happen with the plants if i turn the light from 18/6 to 12/12 on the flowering stage too early or too late ?
Great site.I did learned a lot how to do but i get a problem. I hope is not a death sentence.
Thank you everybody for the help.3 Photos

I'm growing for the first time and i've had the twisting leaf issue which i think was due to a boron deficiency because my PH was too high. I think boron needs a PH of under 6. If you keep your nutrients betweena PH of 5.8 - 5.9 that problem will go away. I'm not sure about the other two pictures.
As for flowering too early or too late, more information is required. I have seen some people flower a seedling and it will grow one branch with buds on it. If you let it veg for too long you may have problems with the roots running out of room to move, and they will struggle to take in nutrients. I heard that you need a 1 gallon pot for every month the plant is in veg.
Since your plants are 5 weeks old, i'm guessing you will need to switch to flowering soon, or transfer them to bigger pots if you want them to veg for longer.

Hello everyone,
I need help with my plant that is 7 weeks old, I noticed that white or discolor on the leaves at earlier age (like 4 weeks), I've been looking since then for any similar symptoms for any kind of deficiency or disease everywhere but got no luck. I even got them under microscopic lens but I saw no difference compared to normal leaves. However, the growth seems to be good except for the "side growing" or whatever the plant stopped developing 2 branches at the 5th node (only one) and then started to become bushy afterwards and develops normal leaves, I think!
I appreciate any help because this is driving me crazy :/
