    clones

Is there a way to keep clones short so they fit in the space in my super box? I don't and can't just have them sitting out around the house all willy nilly. So until my current grow is done, I can't put the clones in the lower box.

grow the clones when one of them has roots and will survive give the rest away or compost them then you have one plant to deal with while you finish your grow

The problem is keeping a clone short enough to fit in the upper shelf of my box till I am ready to move it down and let it grow.

bakedbear stick them in the top shelf when they get to big take a few more clones let them grow if they get to big you can do it again. it takes about two week for roots to pop out of rapid rooters when that happens transplant and 14 to 20 days later do it again you will always be within 2 weeks of bloom nothing says you can't tie them down. how much room is there? I probably should of asked that first sorry Im baked too lol for the 2 weeks it takes to grow roots in mine I keep them in a germination tray with a tall dome its in the house so I can spray it with cloenx 3 times a day so then you'll need 6 to 8 inches of height if you have that much space you shouldn't have a problem .if you have more questions I will come back to this in the morning I think a little clearer hahaha

Thanks for that tip. I have about 6in or so of clearance to let them grow. I do have the dome set up as well in the top of the box. I was hoping that I could grow one enough to just keep cloning it. I understand the wait till morning as well, lol. So it won't hurt the clone if it touches the top of the cabinet? I was hoping to just let it grow till it was big enough to cut another clone from it. Do you think that is a possibility?

It's a good time to start Low Stress Traing to help keep them low
my tents are 4.5' high so have had to keep their height under control

You can grow them in solo cups do LST and they will stay around 6-8 inches. If you had a whole foot, you could run 1 gal pots and top them, they will stay at 12 inches and grow fat buds

So how far along does a plant need to be before cutting a clone from it? I could do just a little lst and then get a clone from it, you think? Also I am using hydro to grow.

the first pic is of a plant that was transplanted 14 days earlier ,the second is of recently transplanted clones after they had roots showing. at the time I took the first picture I could of recloned it by cutting the top off again. I would not think twice about topping a plant as long as you can get a set of good leaves and 2 or 3 inches of stem

Thanks. I think I will just put them in the clone tray and let them grow enough to top like you suggested to work out my space issue.
