Tincture pictures

Do you get the same amount of "doses" from tincture as you would smoking the same amount of weed? This is something I want to try but don't want to "waste" any reefer.

That's a good question I can't answer. I don't consider myself wasting product because it stores really well.

"Wasting" was not the right word. I have never tried tinctures but very interested in making some.

I consider tinctures a fine use of bud ( not just shake)...easy to tritrate, easy with out the aroma in other spaces, and easy to navigate. I wish I could donate to your cause

no big deal..as always it is patience..shake jar often in fepreezer at least 11. Days or more. This batch has northern lights, Kosher Kush and white Widow...

Tika; do you grind your buds before decared (damn auto correct won't let me spell it)? I want to use fresh trim but grinding it would be difficult, at best.

puravida. I strongly suggest dry. And yes I grind but not to powder. Double wrap in foil and decarb
i say dry mostly because that is how I have done it. I guess I like to cure it for a mont
so you could chop the green down with a knife

Got tincture in freezer now. Shaking daily. Can't get Everclear in my state and only 151 rum available was dark rum so I used moonshine that I got last Christmas. Don't know proof but shake test and burning sample shows high alcohol content. We shall see... 😉

Being a nature girl I make jam and jellies and thought you don't need cheese cloth you need a jelly strainer like this. I put a little glass bowl under it pour it in and let it drip for awhile then you can squeeze it . Just took a little out to try my 190 tincture. Please look into this strainer the bags can be wash and cheap replacement.

I tried the tincture last night with the 190 - Under my tongue must be virginal,l I'd swear in court it burned a hole through to my throat . And 5 minutes later I felt great, I did want to rip my kitchen apart and put a different color grip liner in all the cupboards. But it was midnight!

I'll be scared the next time but prepared for that burn . I'm glad I know how to make this. Thanks Tika!

I'd say tincture then dry ice hash is a must for everyone to make. Both easy just arm muscles used. After that first burn I hope it's numb now LOL

Someplace in history I said there is a dance with -90 as well as Bacardi 151
However isn't it just divine??? Self tritrate, know your mix and be cool. I swear Jock Horror from Nirvana is a fabulous up and clear day tincture.

Tika. I made my first batch. Calling it TikaBomb. Ran about 7-8 grams of shake and ground up nugs. A couple kief pucks. And 5 0z of everclear. Was able to reduce to 1/2 and have about 3 oz of tincture. Getting droppers today. Testing within the hour.

I did a 325 for 8 minute decarb. It really opened up the thc. That you can almost see. Cooked it low for 35 minutes or so. According to all research and ymmv all recipes seems to work and tolerance is an individual thing. I hope it fucks me up.

YUM! It will be interesting to know how/if the reduction process will reduce you to the couch thanks for the namesake LOL

Funny dosing will be an issue till I figure it out. I took two drops and said at that rate this will last me a year. Perhaps it's one full dropper. So i went witth 1/2 dropper or 1/2ml and effects were already kicking in within 15 minute. Full report later.

Karlee....can do a drop or two and then have a bite of double cream Brie ..then a few more. I do a burning jig too. It's really hard to swear with my tongue up!
I love it...I am staging my Jock Horror tincture. Will have a few drops-do the jig- then rip the grease out of my spice cabinet since I can't find anything

It has many good uses. Feeling like shit a few drops will help. Need sleep? 15 drops lol. Concert perhaps a full ml or more. I'm easing into it. I have so much. Sharing with friends today. It's green. Burns the fack out of your tounge and tastes pretty darn good so far

2 years later still making the green dragon. My friends migraines have been helped tremendously and many of my mates are regulars when it comes to tincture.

In making some pretty potent stuff - always with fresh or fresh frozen sugar trim to really peak the flavor.
