Just a quick up date friends, I've sprinkled the diatomaceous earth around and on top of pots, haven't seen any more flying monkeys,as for the plants thier comming right along.I may have to transplant early due to size of seedlings I understand autos don't like to be transplanted once out of seedling state.See u on the flip side peace.

That's great to hear! For transplanting, if you do go through with it, the best thing you can do is try to avoid disturbing the roots. I've learned to not shake out the old soil or anything like that. Just make a hole in the new soil that's the size of the old container. Then run a butter knife around the edges of the old container to help loosen up the root ball. You can turn it on it's side and gently pat the soil and roots in one piece. That way you can take the whole undisturbed ball of roots and soil from the old container and plop it directly into the hole you made in the new container, and pat around the edges before watering. If you don't move the roots at all it really reduces the chances of transplant shock. Can't wait for the next installment!

I plan on cutting the jiffiy pots In half with a pair of scissors not disturbing the soil at all the jiffiy pots just split and come away like a jello mold leaving a untouched plant in tacked along with soil it was started in. This is just a little earlier then I'm accostume to. Sorry bout the spelling, more to come soon, chow for now!

LOL, that is important with some strains (learned that the hard way). Make sure to read the descriptions. Sometimes they will mention the seed should be planted in it's final pot straight away.

Thanks for the tip Tony but u know most of these seed banks don't supply a lot of info on a specific strain more intell would be helpfull, I got some gold leaf once it was suppose to grow tall it didn't even get to2 ft. And airie buds to boot. Later.lol

I hear you. That is one of my biggest complaints with descriptions. They are so inconsistent. Some are REALLY detailed and other have barely a couple of lines.

Took the girls out for a walk today thay just look lovely in the sunshine, hope thier, thier to stay! I think I'm going to dunk them to water&feed what I mean is I'll submerge the smart pot in a 5gal.bucket until bubbles are gone than drain. Read about some where?some on GWE have had this toppic come up from time to time I don't remember the result? Or if even was posted i just like the idea of it.So far a steller grow! Peace

Than let me back fill a little,I sprayed the area with a product called deer off smells like coyote urine lasts 30 days.placed cut up milk crates at base off each site to prevent wiking up of ground water, and placed small 1/4 inch hole galvanized fence 1 ft. High around them to keep out Bugs Bunny and chip&dale.around that a larger and taller wire fence 4ft. For Bambi as for Yogi I plan on running as fast as possible, exit stage right! Later gator

hi Potted. is this what you were talking about? even if it's not, it might be helpful

Soooooo I'm probably over thinking this, but would a plant benefit from Soaking or Absorbing water from the bottom as opposed to being watered directly from

hey potted you have the right idea about watering a little to begin with 1/2 a Dixie twice a day then moving up to a full Dixie just make sure your baby's dry out enough to need more water. I try to only water mine every 3 days but when their young its more often.my point is weed like to dry out a little in between watering s this is a picture of some clones they are in there second week in coco/perlite I watered them on Monday with a pint of water they should be ready for more either today(Weds) or tomorrow over watering can cause a host of hard to diagnose problems thats why I am mentioning it good luck

Found a few unwanted friends on my girls today, guess its time to brake out the neem oil (expected) and spray them down about every ten days or so.and the area around them too. And don't worry about to much water I am using a moisture meter for control of that.lol
