I would think some might get broken off from handling but how could you harvest just tricoms

you basically beat the buds on a screen and the trichomes fall through- its how dry hash is made.

Yeah I was thinking about this too, but like say they took a 30 second run, does the dry ice pulverize the bud if its not prebroken up.

the method I referenced does not use dry ice or anything other than the screen.
SO you could get some trichomes off of buds without ruining them.
