I've been learning and sharing here for a few years now. My grow is great. My friends always end up at my house lol.
So. I have a really nice 2x4 sog going.
I have a beautiful frosty, gooey strain. Apple Truffle Breath.
How can I increase the terpenes. It is so worth the extra effort. It smells so good already.
How can I take it over the top?Last edited by FurnaceBoi; 02-26-2025, 11:21 PM.

Low RH in the room mid to late flower of 50 to 40%, the lower the later. Last two weeks as low as you can go. Temps early flower 24⁰C to late flower 22⁰C, measured air temps in room, not under the light. Strong airflow. Full spectrum lighting with buds in full light.
There is a proven direct link between low humidity and low temps mid to late flower with high THC and high bud density.

Bluey I'm in Canada in winter so my flower tent is crazy dry and they love it. I'm also cold shocking at night which imo is definitely increasing trichomes.

Harvesting cannabis at the right time is just as important as how you grow the plant. Harvest marijuana buds too soon and you lose potency and yields; too late and you can end up making a batch of sleep medicine. Learn how to harvest at the perfect time, every time! Here's what you need...

More info needed. What's your medium, send a pic of your plant.
I topically use it about every second feed through veg and up to about 3 weeks after flip. But it varies depending on the strain and how they're going.
I use at most about 10ml to 15ml per 10 litresLast edited by Bluey; 05-11-2025, 07:35 AM.

NebulaHaze,
Hello.
This site is obviously mostly guided towards indoor growers and that is cool.
I am an outdoor casual grower (mostly unsuccessful) in the Aussie sub-tropics. Your website has been a mine of information and I thank you all for that. The past two years have been very good for me.
I wasn't sure if there was an appropriate forum so here is a random question, that I trust you will post to where I might get an answer.
I am almost out of seed. I left a few buds on the plant in hope. I don't think any real seed action is happening but the buds appear to be deteriorating rapidly. Any advice, PLEASE>

Welcome aboard Froghunter. I have never grown plants to produce seeds, but Rwise has and does. He grows cannabis trees outdoors and is really good at it. You'll get the answer either from him or someone else. I'd also like to know the process.

If you haven't seen this, it might be helpful. There is a diagram in there about fan placement.
Give your cannabis plants just the right amount of breeze indoors, and learn how to easily make a cheap, stealthy exhaust system...
There is a formula to calculate the CFM needed for your grow space. I can't remember if it is also at the above link, but if not, google can help. Just speaking from experience, I'd buy a 6" exhaust fan for your size tent. I have a 6" in my 4'x4'x8' tent. It runs about half speed, maybe a little more when I need it too.
Calculate the volume of your tent. You'll want to turn the air over 1-3 times per minute. You'll need to add about 10% for your grow light, and another 25% for your carbon filter (if you are using one). You'll also need to add more CFM for each 90 degree bend on your duct work.Last edited by golfnrl; 08-04-2025, 07:16 AM.
