I started with a 1000w HID MH/HPS I got the ballast, the fixture and 4 bulbs for $60 CAD because buddy on Facebook Marketplace switched to LED. Then I used that light and won 2 grow contests and got an LED Grow light as a prize lol https://www.vivalighting.ca/products...ble-grow-light

No auto, just feminized. It’s in its 6th week of vegging.
im a first timer so I read up on topping a bit late.
plant is 50cm tall and has 8 nodes.
Pistils appeared 2 days ago and I’m a bit worried about
cutting off the part of the plant that just developed pistils,
is that something to worry about?
Also if you only transplanted the plant to a new pot
a day ago, should you wait a few days before topping the plant?

Ha, i just transplanted today from a small to 2 gallon and was wondering about the clipping too. But it is a small plant still.
What is your light schedule? Clipping will set it back a couple of weeks at least but you will get a lot more smaller bus.
There is also the FLIMMINg instead of pinching. I did one of each last grow and you get a different plant structure. I like the pinching myself and usually do it when the third or fourth set of leaves come out.
FLIMMINg is cutting just a bit higher instead of pinching, you actually want to cut above the pinching point and leave some of the leaf.

Lol what a coincidence! I just went to a 3 gallon.
it’s an outdoor, and light schedule is about 14 and half hours daily here at the moment.
I read up on Fimming and Topping, but there’s just a few details I can’t seem to find.
I would prefer to top just as it will stay hidden out of view
from the neighbours.
I would go chop it now but I’ve read topping is highly stressful on the plant, so with the transplant and only
finding out it’s female 2 days ago, I just want to double
check first.

Are you talking about fimming or topping?
I wanna top, and I’ve read to do it at the 6th node,
so if I cut it there there’s 2 more nodes above it and
the very top one has pistils, so I’ll be cutting off 10cm
of plant but the pistils being there and nowhere else
worries me. Will pistils appear elsewhere??
