Here's one for the community.
If you look at my posts, I have been making a lot of oil.
My question is : Has anyone dissolved pure kief or hash in alcohol. RSO style? If so, what were the results?

What's the best light cycle for my indoor plants 24-0, 20-4, 18-6 or 16-8? Which are crossing over from seedling to vege phaseLast edited by Draconite1; 03-17-2021, 12:20 AM.

When using a Kelp supplement for transplanting in coco, do you mix it with regular feed water or plain water.
If feed water do you add it first like Armor Si or does it matter. I would think that plain water would be better.2X4X6 Quictent

I run my kelp with plain tap water. Just my way. Remo velo kelp.
I don't even dechloronate anymore. But for transplant I also add Vitamin B. Any brand. I find a bit of Clonex or any hormone aids with transplant also.Last edited by FurnaceBoi; 03-22-2021, 01:50 PM.

I have always used 18/6 for vegging, then 12/12 for flowering, no matter what the plant is as I use what seeds I find when I buy some, or given some seeds, and I have NO CLUE what it is, but every grow I've done this way (except for my organic grow) has turned out excellent.
Now IF you are getting these types of seeds, then go with what the majority of these type of growers have to input to further your knowledge of growing these types. As I am old school, weed is weed! Fast or slow, it all grows the same, depending on your conditions.Last edited by NuggetMan; 03-23-2021, 05:27 PM.

This is my first day in the forum and just posted a question concerning the amount of yield to expect per plant grown in an outdoor greenhouse. Perhaps you can view my post question before I came across your post, if so my question is more detailed with a couple of pics I posted with it.?

Didnt see any more info. dont be insulted but - you are exhausting the hot air out? and the incoming air - is it from as cold a place as possible, ay outdoors directly? every btu adds up. more air would also help, but not sure how much you have. for example in my basement, 3 degrees warmer can add 5 degrees inside beccuase of the warmer ventilation air and the heat treansfer through the tent. good luck. If all these are as good as you can - then you need less heat or more cooling.

Fill ice chest with ice and set a fan near it to blow the cool air in at a low speed. Maybe you need to switch to a different light that is cooler but still within the light range needed for vegging. I myself use t8 cfl tubes at 6400k for vegging and 2700k for flowering (shop light fixture with 4 tubes). Try CFL bulbs??? They work great indoors for me... At 93 degrees you might as well be outdoors... never over 80 degrees indoors... You have too hot a light for your area...

You want light, not so much heat and this is what you have to contend with; plus your size of grow area, weather, temperature and humidity all play a factor as well... 1 other thing to keep in mind, the more CFL's you bunch together, they will throw out heat as well, even though they are designed to be used as "1 bulb at a time". I put 4 CFL BULBS not tubes together and it raised my temp a extra 6-8 degrees... My other lights run so cool I keep them 3 inches from the tops of the plants.

True words there NuggetMan reason i put a curly CFL with reflector was to raise the temp and it did.

I found out the hard way, had 4 cfl's per light socket, 16 bulbs, 4 lamps total. my room went from a casual 72 degrees and jumped it up so hot (before I had my thermometer) I had to turn on the ceiling fan to high to circulate the air out the door and window. That's when I switched to my shop light t8's!!! BIG DIFFERENCE!!! And I run 4 setups, room does not get anywhere near 80 degrees and humidity is a constant 45%, sweet spot!!!

is there any possible way for me to isolate one plant ( have concerns it may be turning into a hermaphrodit) that is in the same tent with a female plant without anything happening to it. i want to keep the plant growing im just trying to play it safe in case it is turning into a hermaphrodit. i just don’t have the room to grow the plant separately.1 Photo

1) cover with a plastic garbage bag. 2) get it away from your lady. 3) get rid of it as hermaphrodite plants are NO GOOD!!! Don't waste your time on them, trust me, I had 4 that turned on me and isn't worth the trouble to continue, terminate. Be done with it.

I am a brand new grower and I have a question.. I know how to germinate the seeds. But I do not know how to get the plant to grow under a grow light. Do I keep the light on 24/7 ? Do I let it sit in the sun lit window and let nature provide light on her cycle? Do I put it into a grow tent until I transplant outside? I need advice.

it is very simple. 1) germinate seed and once it is ready to plant, plant it in a plastic clear cup (plastic drinking cup) and drill 3 or 4 on the bottom for drainage. This way you can see the roots grow. Within a weeks time or sooner you will be ready to plant into a 1 gallon pot until it outgrows it, then move up to a 3 or 5 gallon (for indoor a 5 gallon pot does really good) pot for the remainder of it growing life (the season depending on what you are growing). This is how I do it and I grow indoors, have had very good success. Depending on where you live and weather, you have to make that decision. I use a small bedroom for my plants. Go to my posts and you can see what my results were as pictures say 1000 words... If you decide on a tent, no need to go outdoors. If your outdoors situation that would thrive, again that is up to you. Sun or PG&E bill. you have no control on outdoor light thus are at the mercy of Mother Nature. Indoors, you can complete a full grow in 5 months minimum indoors using the correct setup. Also depending on the type of light used, heat has to be considered thus regulating the distance from the tops of your plants so they don't burn. I use t8 tubes so I am able to keep my light 3 inches from the tops as they run very cool. So where you going? indoors ort outdoors? I can only recommend that IF you want to do both, you got to acclimate your plants to the switch, I would do it on a nice semi early morning and leave them for the day so they can get acclimated. Keep an eye on them.18/6 hr cycle for vegging, then 12/12 for flowering at the end of 8 weeks of vegging, that is transition to flower time. Transition takes about 1 week, then another 8-10 (10-12) weeks in flower (depending again what you are growing; Indica is faster, Sativa takes 2-4 weeks longer depending on it's particular strain) to harvest time.Last edited by NuggetMan; 04-12-2021, 05:51 PM.
