I have a question about fan leaves. I have two big and healthy fan leaves that are shadowing my lower bud sites and leaves. They are growing, but I can tell that they are not evenly growing and some leaves are a bit smaller then the others. What should I do? Clip the fans off? Or is there another way. I have pruned the lower fans as they were being used up and these two up top would be the last two fans I have.4 Photos

I think it's too early to tell. I might see some pistil hairs on the first picture, but the later there's just not enough detail and the plant seems too young still.

ok. so with this ph is similar. will need nutes sooner . place I go to for soil was out of ocean forest , so I grabbed 2 bags to try it out. Thank you

Coco-loco is not pure coco coir. It has no real NPK values so you’ll need to feed your plants eventually. It is “lightened “ with perlite so it aerates well and I keep my pH near 6.5

I am not familiar with using coco-coir since I am a soil grower but I do pH my nutrients between 6.0-6.8 and fluctuate. Check this site for assistance with using coco...

Do you feed/PH FF coco-loco the same as soil? ive read some say its not really coco, was thinking of trying it out.

Plants hermie because either they are predisposed genetically or stressed or both. The only thing you can do is not over stress them. If they are genetically predisposed then even light stresses could potentially hermie the plant.
As far as clone cutting, you usually take it off the end of a branch on a mature plant (not flowering but mature). Start with the lower branches and work up.

I just want to know that when I get my mother plant that my clones won’t hermmi on me, I have my first set of clones on a 12/12. So hopefully I did that correct.
not sure where to take clones from? Do they have to be after the 5th node or anywhere off the plant.. sorry these might be stupid noob questions.
I have more seeds but really don’t want to waist them if I don’t have too.
once I figure that out then I can do my thing.

When I did clones, I would take a couple from each plant before starting to flower. Once I sexed, then destroy the male plant and clones, but kept one of the clones as a mother plant and continued to veg. Autoflower did away with that process for me.
