    Comeback after light burn

First grow with all new L.E.D.s . followed manufactures requested distance + or - an inch.
Moved C.F.L seedlings to L.E.D.s. after 3 days I noticed thickening leads and dark veins. Moved back to CFLs but after 3 more days no new growth. Did I Fry em? Would I be better off to start over with a fresh batch of seedlings and raise my LEDs to 20 plus inches till they get led hardned?

They should be fine- and develop new growth, at the stage you are at the LED should be in it's greatest range for awhile. Each LED is is different depending on the lights power- the more powerful the light is- the father away it has to be to compensate for increased penetration-
I would have to have the seedling @ 24-28" at this point and not closer until it is more developed.
I also ran into a light issue during flower at the recommended distance-and moved the light to the veg distance- I still have discolored leaves, but new growth has over shadowed it , by a long shot.
It's all bullshit - until you smoke it!

Thanks for the info: Experience is by far the best way to get the knowledge. Even after a week back under the CFLs first leafs fell off, still green but thick and crunchy---stems dead.Back to New sprouts! To much is not always a good thing. Was using 125W Thinklux @15".
