Could it be light bleaching from the grow light being too close?
Example of light bleaching from a 600W HPS being kept 12" away (plants can get bleached even if the temperature is cool):

Kind I have a large argo tent that I split in half for veg and bloom I used this flexible silver insulation from Lowes and silver tape has worked great for last 3 years . I think you can achieve your goal of 800g from the room you have now , Im getting between 3 and 400 grams per grow with 4 plants 4 grows a year looking goodnew grow room built summer of 2017 ,argo max tent for veging ,big kahuna reflector, 1000hps with added leds for the full spectrum . 15th indoor grow ,5 years outside gorilla grows(stealth is the key),veg under t5s growing autos under 300w leds

Some awesome pics... not wanting to load tho 🤔 Hope soon on harvest. Thinking maybe increasing dark cycle, maybe cooling during dark cycle too. Bucket of ice under a fan?

You have done a lot with a small space and setup. Looks like you have mastered grow room management. 1/4 pound isn't a lifetime supply, but it is a good yield for 400 Watts. You mentioned adding more lights, and having just switched from 400W HID lamps to LEDs, I strongly encourage you to look at that option before you spend more on a larger and hotter discharge fixture. Were it me, I would consider spending your dollars on a couple small LED panels to supplement the 400W fixture you already have. The 'wide spectrum' LEDs should get along with that in both veg and flower phases, and they run MUCH cooler in a closed space. Having the option to move a few light sources around your grow space also makes it easier to accommodate your plants as they grow and need to be re-arranged.
