9fingerleafs, is it in the 12/12 cycle, and if so, how long? Without knowing anything (that never stopped a politician ! LOL), I would say that it looks more male than female. That's a harry little bugger though!

very true..... i guess welcome to the journey hahaha thats why i posted this theres not much info on sexing, teenagers, hermaphrodites and its numerous way to manifest all kinds of crazy behaviors. we may as well just start documenting. like DW2's crazy pollen sack with hairs. be sure to check that out too. ill keep adding pics as i take them

Could be, give it a couple of more days, they might pop out. Wonderful photos, clear and detailed! what did you use to take them? I hope that it turns out to be a stinky (although harry! lol) little girl.

I actually realized it was a male cause it double his sister in height and branch width in the first cupple of weeks. Very robust very large leafs and long space between nodes. so I decided to document the developement up close. There's still the possibility of an hermaphrodite wich is what I'm hopeing for. Just to help new growers mostly once I get enough pics I'll chop it

I thought male preflowers were usually raised a bit like that one, female ones sit right on the nodes

Thanks everybody. Just wait for today's pics. That little preflower is a calyx and a banana at the same time. Perfect hermaphrodite example.

here it is, the white light from the microscope doesnt help with all those resin glands and shiny parts, but you can clearly see a little ball with a calyx underneath

That is bizarre! I have one that 'popped' a pistil from a nanner, but I have never seen this before.

Thanks nebula. Fell free to share it. I wanted more pics but I had a minor space issue and everything went into flowering and this male got chopped. I'll document any other male I get and post it here. Not many preflower photos out there

Wow. I just found what I suspect is 3 males today but they've only developed as far as your pictures from a couple days ago. Im in my 6th day of bloom. Was thinking to pull them out now and create more space (glad i over planted now lol) while likely reducing the humidity in the room but might hold off a day or 2 and see what develops.

Great. You are correct no reason to panic. You still have a few days to observe male developement. As soon as you see the first umbrella (open pollen sack) the risk begins. Carefully place a plastic bag over and cut the main stem so the pollen doesn't fly with the handling. If you Don't care about it just get rid of them as soon as your sure they're males
