Can someone help me out? My girls are two almost three days old from sprouting, standing 3+ ft away from the 250W MH lights. My temps are around 30-32C (dunno in F, but that's high) and RU around 60-75%. One is fine and the other it's like this, I'm thinking in overwatering, but can also be a heat issue. Any thoughts?

Learn how to yield 4-7 ounces with a 250W HPS using coco coir as a medium. Get step-by-step instructions from beginning to end!
Nebula says 3ft from start and 2ft after they appear.. I'm moving to 2ft away, is it enough? And as I put the light 2ft away the chance of it's survival reduces? Do you think I sould keep a hot environment to dry a bit?
What do you recomend?

I have no idea what the ideal distance would be or if the plant is getting enough light or too much. Pretty hard to guess but as a general rule I think the lights are fine. The real problem is if you don't let the soil dry out no oxigen will reach the little roots and the plant will drown. Don't expect it to recover in a few hours. It may take a day or two. Just let it be and watch

for a 250W do 3 feet until they sprout, then move to 2 feet. Once they've got a few sets of leaves drop it to 1 ftCompleted auto grows 3

These are photos from my first seedling (the other one died). I'm having trouble on tracking my watering right. Since I lost my second seedling for overwatering, I'm taking care not to drown this one as well. Can someone tell me from eye if the jiffy it's too dry? I'm trying the first knuckle method and it's kinda dry but the appearence it's not too moist. I've watered the first time four days ago (when I put the seedling on the red cup w/ jiffy). The soil it's moist, should I only water the jiffy?2 PhotosLast edited by Mr Pot; 03-16-2017, 12:43 PM.
