4 feet isn't very tall. I currently grow in a space that size but use CFL lights, which can be placed closer to plants. I am planning on up grading lights and expanding grow area for next grow. There are plenty here that grow with LED and can tell you how far to keep lights from plants.DIY grow space 2.5' X 3.5' X 6.5'
315 LEC
6" Vortex exhaust fan w/speed control
6" Carbon filter
3- 6" fans
humidifier
temp and humidity gauge
5 gal smart pots w/ FFOF soil
FF trio nutrients

2 ft wide, 2 ft deep and 4 ft tall and with LED lights which need a little distance from the plants. I think it will be difficult to grow with that set up. The last thing I want to do is discourage anybody from growing, but the second to last thing I want to do is recommend something that I think will be difficult to succeed. I would consider CFL lights for that rig and save the nice LED lights when you have more flexibility in height. The CFL's are not expensive, the heat is manageable and they can be close to the plants. We have CFL guys here that know their stuff and would be willing to help a lot.
I might be off base here because I have never tried to grow is a 2x2x4. Just my 2c. Best of luck whatever you do.completed 7 grows
what I have learned so far:
environment maters more than nutrients
at least a dab of nutrients in every watering
effective flushing before harvest is critical to quality

Flockshot -- you're right on -- I have a small tent, I think it is 2 ft by 2.5ft but 8ft high. So I have 2 Northern Light auto's -- just natural, no LST, and they are now 34 -36 inches tall. So those 2, plus a fan, plus a humidifier and I'm out of room. Luckily I have the height for my 2 300 watt leds -- plus the heat can be a problem at times.
Now next grow I will rearrange a bit, and I might be able to get 3 plants in.
A least try to get more height Pakweezy, or like Flockshot said, look into cfls.

I have read about low stress training the plants where u bent them at 90° so that should same me a lot of room right? And I have one plant growing now and only one light and the heat is kinda high stays around 86 to 89 and the humidity says around 28% and I have a fan blowing air in and and vent fan blowing out....thanks every for your input very help full

First thing we need to figure out is how to get your temperature down into the 70's. Also a wet towel hanging in the tent will help with humidity. my 2c

Extra tent height also helps with temperatures. My 2x4 tent used to be 7' tall but I got a height extension taking it to 9' and this has dropped my temps at the canopy a bit. Smaller pots (maybe 1 or 2 gal) will also help you control plant size (but also yield).
