Fastflower in DWC

I'd like to start growing in DWC. I was thinking about Fast Flower. Which Fast Flower strains produce the highest yields? And where do you buy your seeds? Do you have any ideas?

If you’re new to growing DWC is one of the harder ways to learn. I think most here would recommend a different grow style to start.
Not sure what you mean by fast flower, some strains flower faster than others.

If it your first time growing indoors try coco and go with photoperiods.

Always go for quality above yields.

I agree with Bluey and Smallgrow. Why jump into DWC your first grow? Coco/perlite in fabric pots with GH nutes following the GWE tutorials will give you great buds. (Have you read any?) Step back a moment and figure out what you want to accomplish. How many ounces? What strains? Which plants are best for the environment you are growing in, e.g. temp and humidity? Newer growers often allow their enthusiasm to override common sense and simple planning. Follow the above and you should have more bud than you can use.

DWC is very unforgiving. If you are a person that likes details and number crunching, its for you.

I feel like DWC can be done by beginners who care, but not necessarily a great choice, especially combined with autos.

The hardest part about DWC is getting seedlings started, and the hardest part about autos is you have to start strong.

So you're kind of combining the two forms of growing that need the most perfect first 2-3 weeks, which is also the hardest time for a beginner. It feels like setting yourself up for hardship by putting a lot of pressure on doing this perfect right out the gate.

But if you get a photoperiod strain, you have all the time in the world to make some mistakes, because you can keep them in the vegetative stage until they're big and healthy enough to start flowering. So even if you start slow, you can recover and still get a great harvest.

But I agree with Bluey that growing in coco with photoperiod seeds is a forgiving way to grow, and gets almost as fast growth as hydro if you use good nutrients. Or coco with auto seeds if you want a faster harvest.

If you go to the GrowWeedEasy website they have a best seed sources page. I personally like Seedsman the best right now. I feel like they usually have the strain I want, and better customer service than NASC. Good germination rates. But seed banks all change over the years. Make sure to stock up on seeds now because in November this year it's possible all the American seed banks are going to close due to a new US seed law.
