These are from Bruce Banner auto feminized seeds from Green Consulting Hub. Pic on left four weeks after germination, pic on right at 7 weeks. Growing in coconut coir, using general hydroponics flora trio and cal-mag nutrients. Lights are 2 Viparspectra V450 less. Plant on left had no training and some large fan leaves trimmed. Plant on right wsa topped at 4 weeks, and some low stress training applied. Lights are on 18/6 cycle, and both plants fed the same. They are in a 5 gal and a 3 gal cloth pot. Any idea's on why they look so different, and why the buds are so small?

Possibly not enough light but what humidity and temps are you running?

Thanks Bluey, I've been concerned about the temperature, since we're in Florida. The temperature stays around 80° F in their room, humidity 40 to 60%.

Thats fine.
Careful of fabric pots, they can dry out quickly.
Id leave a lot more leaf on those but some dont. I only remove them if I can't get light onto the buds. I have good dehumidifiers though.

As Bluey said Leave the leaves , especially with autos. The leaves power growth.
I know everyone is always defoliating etc and there are some effective strategies there, but I try to only take away leaves if needed to allow proper air flow and manage humidity
You have a nice side by side comparison of topping and not topping.
Give yourself a break and try some photos next time. Im not an auto hater but I don’t think they are great for less experienced growers as they are so sensitive to any mistakes

How much and how often do you water? The medium looks dry.Growing Autos and Photos, Gorilla Grow tents, AC Infinity fans, exhaust, filter, humidifier, and controller, HLG Lamps, 50/50 Coco/Perlite, Autopot system, BlueLab PH Controller, CX Horticulture nutrients

Do you water to run off? Coco needs to be moist. How much do they get when you feed them? With your temps and RH if you keep the air moving you shouldn't have to worry about anything. But be careful about RH at 60 or above in flower. I recently learned a hard lesson about that. Do you do the lift and weigh method to determine of they need to be watered?
