Stubbornly learning there are mandatory items & necessities

I’d be grateful to others for comments and criticism for how else will I ever learn to properly use the K.I.S.S. method and come to harvest with something to show.
without boring with every mistake made to date, and still with a very healthy crop growing in my homemade “super soil” I’ll leave with this, but please comment and help (Thank you!):
Just learning about lung rooms. The room the tent is in is at least 6 X 12 larger than 5X10 tent, is heated in winter and cooled by HVAC & vented into room. With the door to room open there’s good air flow. The exhaust will be vented into room/house then, obviously back through HVAC filter. Cooled air in summer comes from vent in floor nicely situated near vent openings in tent. The obvious attitude is to use the 5X10 as a complete grow through the seasons. In spring/fall temps the window in room can bring in cool (65 - 75 deg) fresh air. The cool, dry basement is always averaging 55 deg., humidity avg. 40% and used for dark, cool, low humidity hanging/drying/trimming flower. Then dried bud in mason jars for burping in said basement. That’s way more info I intended sharing but need your insight if at all doable. I like using K.I.S.S. method.

    Welcome.
Looks like you’ve got a good start there. Definitely a nice amount of space.
I’m Not that familiar with the light you have , you’ll likely need more light to cover that space but you don’t have to fill it right away.

Read up on the main GWE site, everything you need to know is there. Come back with specific questions as they come up, like if you want to other add equipment ask before you buy. We’ve all bought stuff early on that we regret.
Be patient fails are a part of the process, soon you’ll have enough stash that it matters less.

Go to the tab at the top that says “start here” and start reading. Type specific topics in the search bar as they come up to find related articles

California Lightworks new extreme series fir my 5X10?
My 8” AeroZesh T running 24/7 at speed three or 4 for lack of direction/help from Vivosun. VPD average 1.0. I think 24/7 is excessive. Thoughts please?

Im sure those are nice lights not to many people I’ve come across using them tho. I expect that’s based on cost. I think these days most people want the bar style like the Extreme series 640 or 820. For a 5x10 I think you will need to treat it like 2 5x5 for coverage. I don’t think you find something that will cover that rectangular space in one fixture.

I don’t run my exhaust fan continually. I set it to temp and humidity parameters so it cycles on and off as needed. This is usually pretty frequently so here is lots of air exchange. Hopefully you got their controller with the fan, if not you should pick one up. To me the automated controllers are a game changer. Although you can certainly grow good weed without

Your target VPD is different during different plant stages there are a number of good charts out there here is one I use. Ideally with VPD you are checking your leaf temperature not room temperature as that is what’s important. Normally once you know the offset it doesn’t change. My leaf temp is usually 2 degrees C cooler than the room. Read through the info in the link if you want more details.
Remember to not get lost in the numbers the important thing is, is your plant happy. ITs easy to get wrapped up in the numbers and forget about the plant

"Why devote an entire guide to VPD?" you might ask. The answer is that the vapor pressure deficit (VPD) is extremely important for growing plants. VPD helps you identify the correct range of temperature and humidity to aim for in your grow space. With VPD you can achieve the best results while avoiding pest and environ

Critique please from anyone. I’ll be so glad to read response! Read so much about LST just had to calmly and carefully tread that pat with 6/ Zkittelz auto remaining in tent doing so this morning. Looks good? Should leave this go or return to normal? Pics here include.
