    Vivi Cure Packs

So I recently posted a question about curing in jars versus grove bags and thanks all for your replies . Yesterday I learned a little about these new Vivi cure packs and wondering if anybody has tried them.

I have not used them. Being unfamiliar with their products I looked at their web site FAQ. I didn't see anything different about these humidity packs than others in the market. You prolly already know there is debate about using humidity packs during the curing and storing process. I did not see any info on the other reason to burp jars. Maintaining the RH is important but so is the exchange of fresh air. Fresh air helps the aroma of the weed develop as the hay smell diminishes. I don't like burping jars but have not found a process to replace it that appeals to me. IDK. Sometimes the old ways are the best ways.

Really? I hadn't heard of that. Is it because people use the packs alone without burping, or you shouldn't use the packs at all even if you're burping?

It's really about taste. Some say the humidity packs change the flavor of the bud.

Interesting... I'll have to do some research on that.

Seems like there are two new packs from Boveda VIvi cure and VIvi fresh. The VIvi Cure claims 10 days burp free curing in a jar then you switch it out to the VIvi fresh pack for storage.
Does it work , I donno. I tend to agree with golfnrl about air exchange being important.

As I said in the other thread I have moved away from the packs as I started to feel they may affect taste, of course they are not supposed to accordingly to Boveda.
