Almost a month into flower now about 4-5 weeks to go
a bit of light burn showing at the tips , a common problem for me.
I try to keep the light close to keep the plants short but always end up with plants too tall and also burn.
Someday, I’ll train enough and flip early enough. I almost exclusively grow “Sativas” so stretch is a challenge.

The girls are getting big, should be done stretching by now.
They’re about 36” tall from the soil. I’m outta tent as usual.
Not the flattest canopy ever, but with the inter-canopy lights it matters less.
It’s just so hard to cut stuff off early on.

Ha! Ya I’m considering that approach
It always makes me nervous, I only did it once at this stage of flower but it did turn out well 🤷‍♂️

Thanks Bowhunterwoody, appreciate the positive feedback

Now we just have to maintain and ride it till harvest.
Hopefully I can control my temps at the end.

The up side of the shitty spring I think most of us are experiencing, is that it hasn’t been hot so that’s been helpful.

          About 6 weeks now.
A couple pics of the Super Lemon Haze buds, and one that got stuck behind the pocket on my grow tent, oops!

Their starting to get sticky, with a touch of frost

Im brewing a flower tea to take them to the finish line, I’ll probably give a cup each of EWC too

A few shots as we wrap up week 7, couple more weeks. Still showing a bit of tip burn I think is light stress. I will start gradually lowering light intensity now till finish.
Crossing fingers that the heat hold off outside and I can keep the girls cool for the finish

Finishing up week 8 since I switched to 12/12 should be done soon. I’ll have a look at trichromes tonight but probably one more week.
Having some challenges keeping heat and humidity down , hopefully I can get away with it 🤞

I think it’s probably chop time end of week 9 I will have a close up look later. Pretty happy overall

I have a bit of fox tailing which Id like to avoid in the future I’ve turned my light down in the last week or two but that wasn’t enough. I don’t even run high PPFD to start with, this grow probably peaked at 600 yet I continue to have what I think is light intensity issues , you can see the burnt tips on the Mango CBD.
I think I need to keep my light further away but its hard in a 6 foot tent

I chopped it all down and got it hung up,

Just to add to my humidity stress at the end of the run, my power went out because of a storm mid chop and is still out 18 hours later.
So far I’ve just left it which is making me really nervous, I’m going to wait another hour and see if I can get some AC to run on my genny. The utility keeps pushing the service restoration time back.

              Fork!

I do have my jail sentence to do still , lol

Ive been getting lazy the last few grows and not trimming everything at once. This is a good sized and good quality harvest for me so I’d like to trim it all up and get an “official” trimmed weight

              #28
It’s all dried and in jars now for storage, paroled from trim jail.

I trimmed it all because I knew it would be close to my best harvest (1.1lbs) from my 3x3 space, and I wanted an accurate trimmed weight.
I came up just short at 433 grams or 15.46 ounces between the four plants.
Plus 2-3 ounces of larf, popcorn, and trim for hash, and a couple grams of dry sift from the Trimbin.

Very happy with this grow in general. Probably the happiest plants I’ve grown. Nice yield, good looking bud, just needs to cure for 30 days before a sample.

I dried at 60F/60% for 12-14 days using an Ac and dehumidifier

Love it. 433 is a very good number. Well done.

I like the DIY dryer. I'm trying to figure that out. I've wondered if a small Ac would work. I can't work out the box or drying area. The retail dryers I have looked at are overpriced and too small IMHO. Could you help a brother out and share your setup?

                Thanks guys

At this point I’m lucky to have a small spare bedroom as my dry space. In that room I have a window AC and a full sized dehumidifier. If you have those three things it becomes easy to hold 60/60 as long as he outside temps are above 16-18c (60-65f) so it’s warm enough for the AC to operate.
Normally I try to dry before the weather warms up so I swap the AC for a 4” in-line fan with temp controller mounted to a piece of Styrofom SM which I stick in the window and that brings in cool air for the dehumidifier to dry out.
When I have a bit more time I’ll post some pics and my older setup which would work if you don’t have a whole room to dedicate to drying of 1-2 weeks

golfnrl this is my old setup.
It’s basically a 3x3 tent with a dividing wall from the 4x3 tent I grow in now to keep the blowing air from hitting the plants directly. Attached to that is a styrofoam “lung room”.
I went through a number of configurations with this basic setup.
I settled on having the deHum in the tent behind the “wall” and a small clip fan in that part as well so air moves even if the deHum is not running
I try to plan my grows and hash making/drying when it’s cold enough outside to not need AC to dry, but it can certainly be part of the set up. Otherwise, as I said above a piece of Styrofoam SM(it’s more rigid than the white foam board), or even plywood provides a place to run ducting from a 4 or 6” in-line fan to bring in cool air and/or out
It worked pretty well I used it a number of years. The whole room is better mind you
A lot of people have good success using their main grow tent, but I don’t want to give up that space as typically I have plants or at least pots of soil in there.
