Debating whether to transplant my indoor grow

My plants are 5 days old since emerging from the soil and growing as expected. I throughly water my soil before placing my seed in a moist rr then in soil. There in a dome and I have been occasionally misting the seedlings with bottled water twice a day. Again there 5 days old and I haven't watered other then spraying them. I'm concerned about drainage and the seedling links roots/oxygen. I'm using black magic soil. I bought perlite and I'm debating on transplanting them into fresh soil / new solo cup until there to big for the dome with a 3rd perlite. Or transplanting them into there main 5 gallon home? All advice welcome. Thanks

All I would do at this point, is remove the dome (as tolerated) but stop spraying them, to encourage the roots to look for water.
Let it dry out a bit.

Then use a very small amount of water to keep the rr moist, but not wet, as you do not want the seedling to dampen out.

I would only water the soil once the seedling is growing.

Once the plant out grows the current container- then transplant adding perlite as you mentioned.

I NEVER mist seedlings only clones.

I concur with Weed Pharma. If the plants are in a dome you shouldn't have to mist them. The more you water the leaves (misting) the roots don't feel the push to grow as fast.

my solo cups were only little over half full with soil and rr at same height, now the seedlings almost growing out of the cup, appears that its growing strong. As always thank you for your advise and I plan on adjusting my grow technique.

Update, in the best interest in my ladies, and advice from Gwe forum, my gut feelingwas to transplant into another solo cup with 3rd perlite and 2/3rds black magic. I carefully removed soiled around rr and then wiggled gentle and pulled the rr out ; my root tips were white and barely sticking out of the rr. the soil beneath was very moist yet very compacted to the point that it felt like clay versus soil. That's on me I think I packed it after watering. It's been 12 hrs since transplanting. My soil was dry few minutes ago and I watered each with 30ml. Ladies are doing great with the dome off. Will keep you all updated. Also age of my ladies is now going on day 5 since coming out of the rr. Planted on March 6th am . Ladies first winked at me on the 8th am. Thanks again , keep you posted

How many times do you plan to transplant?

I didnt even want to transplant this time, I'm glad I did that soil beneath the rr , was moist and so compressed it was almost like clay. I only planned on once from the solo into the 5 gallon home. Now it's draining as expected, the roots are getting water moist importantly 02, and the lady on the left has its second set of leaves that are more apparent from the right lady. Update to come

Just throwing this out there. Maybe next grow try using coco coir. You water them like you do with soil but you have much better drainage, the chance of over-watering is low, and the plants will grow a bit faster and are able to get more oxygen at the roots.

Cool. I switched to it two years ago and have been very happy.
