    America dreamin'

    I'm sweating it.
Feminized American Haze x California Haze from Seed Supreme. Planted December 8. They were flushed about 6 hours ago.
50/50 Coco/perlite and Fox Farm Happy Frog. Giving water pH'd to 6.5, except four days, or so, ago when I gave a wee bit of Fox Farm Grow Big and Big Bloom. It was an instant regret. The leaves started yellowing. They've had one watering and a good flush, since. I know I burned the leaves.
What I'm worried about is how small they are. Most or some y'all know I'm switching over from coco. At almost three weeks of my coco regiment, I'd have some good spacing at the nodes and much larger leaves. Is that from burning them? Are they overwatered?
The light is on 18/6 but the tent is never closed. Night light is ambient and TV. Height is 25"
My plan was to transplant them to final pot on Monday. That'll be in more Happy Frog that has been flushed severely. At the moment I'm worried that I'll burn them more if I transplant.
My paranoid thinking is I'm getting bum seeds from Seed Supreme. My last OG Kush grow was strange because I had such different sizes in the plants. 3' of difference, if you remember me blowing up my tent.

I've done lots in FF, years ago. It's hot stuff, I know, but I never had such stunting.

I swear by 50/50 coco/perlite, fabric pots, GH Trio + CaliMagic. Perhaps my ignorance, but why use soil?
My primary route to great buds is controlling the grow environment to eliminate unnecessary risks. Soil presents such a risk to be controlled or eliminated.
Nothing against your choice. I simply try to understand what rationale growers use to make the choices they do.

See, it's been years. I can't remember when I started adding nutrients. I have to believe I started this early or earlier because I didn't know from hot soil. I had extremely good luck, not knowing what I was doing. Hell, I didn't even pH my water for the first couple years. Shit... is that it? Should I not worry about adjusting pH?
Damnit-damnit! I already miss the simplicity of coco. All the more reason to cherish my Little Lucy.

Always pH when adding anything in a bottle to soil

Allotrope1000 I was getting super bored with coco. There's nothing to it. Growing weed was losing its intrigue.
It was time to buy new nutrients and medium and I was looking to get away from Indicas. This AHxCH is almost pure Sativa. My last/current grow is Franklin's CBD heavy Aunt Ginnie's which was a big step in growing something different. See, I'm trying to mix things up. Same with what I've been doing with extracts.

Just my 2 cents worth here, my reasons for not using soil anymore are listed in my post (this is what we should avoid if we can)

But I do get what you mean about getting bored with Coco Dabber, been there too, I guess, with the amount of shit that I need to do now, I don't get time to get bored anymore.

I get that, that's why I tried hydro,I needed to mix things up

Riiiiiight! That's why I did my little experiment with the evaporation cooled coffee reservoir, that failed. The experiment was successful, not the grow. Yours is coming along much better.

Reading... reading... I need to check the runoff next time I water. No adjustment.

All good thoughts on using soil, gang.

My first greenhouse grow had two pure landrace sativa photos (Malawi Gold and Durban Poison). They did fine in coco/perlite. As have subsequent photo/AF and hybrid grows.

I dono, nothing wrong with boring if it produces good results. Idk much about soil as I have only ever used coco/p and it never let me down.
Don't worry, be happy, grow sticky buds.

I've always had a garden, veggies and shit, started growing in 2020, been pretty much a perpetual grow
