    Your Favorite Infusion Method?

    For all.
    We have to something with all that great weed we don't smoke! So,
    I have been thinking about what the forum's preferred methods are for making infused oils, tinctures and edibles.
    Any personal favorites?

    I admit, I have gotten lazy and simply add RSO to MCT oil, chocolate bars and cookie dough
    (never tried brownies or gummies).
    I get nice results, but wonder if I am giving up some flavor differences for the simplicity.
    Your thoughts?

    Haven't tried many. I make what gwe here calls hash oil with their recipe, and then gummies again with their recipe. My friends and relatives love them. I haven't smoked in 25 years but I try one of every batch an hr before bed and I usually have a real hard time getting there. Start to feel it in 20 min. Then blammo.

      I made some cannacaps with coconut oil infused with kief for a friend with Cancer. He said it was the first time he slept 8 hours in months

    Dry Ice kief is a favorite of mine, I use it in edibles and smoke it. RSO is great if its not too thick.

      I like dry ice kief, too. Great to sprinkle on top of a fresh bowl. RSO mixes well with cocoa butter in chocolate bars when heated. I mix 50/50 RSO/190 EverClear and "paint" on rolled out cookie dough.
      The ethanol evaporates when cooking.

        I have 2 quarts of "green dragon" i need to strain and run through the distiller for Thanks Giving. They have been in the freezer for a couple of years so they should be good

      I like quick and simple, so I get the brownie packet mix from our local supermarket, it says to add 2 eggs & 125grams of butter to the mix, (I replace that butter with 125mls of RSO in MCT oil) mix all together, then bake for 30-35 minutes, then it's done, they turn out tasting bloody lovely, chocolatey, (with a slight weed taste, but still yumm az), you could always put more RSO in the icing if you wanted, but then I'm stoned for around 5 hours, If that's too heavy for some, I'm sure one could easily put less RSO, and regulate it to one's preference.

        It's crickets for me! Scott's left-footed crickets are one of nature's little oddities.
        Scott's left-footed crickets have organs much like baleen whales. When they eat sugar leaf, the baleen filters out and stores the trichomes.
        As the trichomes buildup, the cricket becomes unable to move to feed, then dies and drops off.
        At the end of harvest, the crickets are gathered.
        Just like decarbing weed, 30 minutes at 240ish is enough to activate the THC and slow and low enough not to make the Scott's left-footed crickets too crispy.
        They're addictive, though. You can't eat just one.
        Open to suggestions.

        Ethanol wash extraction and concentration to make tincture. This can be added to any food for an edible, or added to hot glycerin to make a glycerin tincture. Also coconut oil extraction for edibles.
        Don't worry, be happy, grow sticky buds.

          Green butter infused on the stove.

          Cookies are my fave to add the butter too but have used it in cakes, muffins and spread on toast.
          Flower Room: 11' x 7' x 7.5'H, 480w AC, 13gal/day dehumidifier, 1.5gal ultrasonic humidifier, 60gal (27gal usable) nute tank, 16" pedestal fan & 18" wall fan. Lighting and climate automated. Hand watering.
          Veg Cupboards: ​​​​​​Two 4x2x6H cupboards. SF2000 Evo in one SF7000 in other. Climate controlled and automated. Hand watering
          Aeroponics Low Pressure Bucket: 20W LED. 5 clones & 20W LED 11 clones
          Lights: Mars Hydro FC-E1200W, SF-7000, SF-2000 evo in flower room.
          Medium: Coco/perlite, 7.2gal pots, no drains
          Current Grow: ​​​5 x Photos Franklin's Orange Zkittles x Sour Diesel in flower room, 3 Franklin's White Widow x Sour Diesel Clones, 13 x Orange ZkittleZ x Sour Diesel clones in Aeroponics buckets x 2.
          Last Grow: A mix
