    Pre-Harvest Flushing

    Hi, Group.
For those interested, the Seedsman blog has a lengthy article by Jorge Cervantes, summarizing a scientific study by Rx Green Technologies on the benefits of flushing. Bottom line,
    flushing does NOT:
    1) Improve THC %
    2) Remove salts and minerals from buds
    3) Make a better cure
    4) Make buds taste better or smoother

    Definitely worth reading.

        I gotta say,

A few times I've stuffed up and NOT flushed, for various reasons, and never really noticed bad taste, or anything else different to when I have flushed, so this has got me thinking now too.

The general consensus seems to be the only time flushing is a good idea is if there's a problem with the medium like overdose of nutes or salt build up. For a healthy plant it can do more harm than good. I grow in living soil so flushing is a definite no-no.
