The big 4 are Auntie's Best Friend by our Franklin. The little 1 is Auntie's Helloween Bowl by the same gentleman. This one is a test for auto properties. 15 seeds went down. 15 seedlings came up.
I've realized the tallest of a group of seedlings is no guarantee of the biggest, best plant. In a pot of three, I decided to remove the tallest and the shortest, leaving the middle one: The average.
Quickest sprout time. Planted on Oct 2, first pop on Oct 4.
Largest 3-week plants I can remember.
Has anyone researched seed size when it comes to plant properties?

Seems like I remember that thread. I did not know that size mattered, no not that size. seed size. Now that we're thinking about it seems I remember it's the darker seeds that are more likely to sprout. Maybe not.

Aunties Halloween bowl is my much worked orange Zkittles crossed with AGE. We're not sure if this last one is an auto or photo or something in between. Since you're at 3 weeks I guess we'll find out soon. This should be fun.

Minor pH issue going on. It is taking almost a third more pH Down than I've given in the past. All else equal, the pen needs calibration. I'm going to use my ginger senses until then and go back to what I was giving last time.

I just had two tiny seeds pop in 2 days in a paper towel. Long root and fibrous. They are from a local guy, didn't have a strain name on it though. I've usually went for bigger seeds, these impressed me for sure. Hopefully they keep this power on through the grow.

Got some fine-looking 4-week-old dope.
The mains are double barrel and hollow with fair thin walls. The currently non-binary plant is staying small in the pot but growing well. That's the close-up. It's not overtly male so??? The two fronts are on 4" risers.
Starting flowering nutes.
A neighbor moved out and offloaded a Made in China brand, perpetual oxygen machine I was going to use to oxygenate my water with proper oxygen, not the miasmatic fecal matter that my community is known for. Probably going to keep with the air stone.
Dabber likes the new-to-us couch.

That's why I call it a perpetual oxygen machine. Once I turn it on, there is no off! Imagine the environmental consequences.

5 weeks. Been plucking. 70° at night. Heavy plucking over the week.
Applying my limited knowledge of photo/phem, and compared to the others, I don't think this is an auto. And it's on a plant stand.

Got the pen calibrated.
This grow has been a good example of relying on experience. If you've been doing the same thing for a long time and something seems off, go back to what you know. Rely on your training, if you will. My plants would be dead had I relied on the equipment and not used my brain.

Glad you caught that, such a good point about the need for experience and observation beyond our tools.

There is one other possibility with that plant. I got the sense that it might be a long vegging auto. That actually would be pretty cool if it was because it gives more time for manipulation and fixing problems before it goes into flower, I sometimes feel really rushed with autos.The one I had, I treated it as if it was a photo with lots of sculpting and basically mainlined it using BU2Bs approach. Then it started putting out flowers at around 5 or 6 weeks maybe? It was outdoors and not yet to 12/12 so I'm really unsure still if it was a long vegging Auto or just a photo

Sculpting, yeah. Got that going on only to keep it small enough for the space it's in. Again, front two plants are on 4" risers. The back left plant just got hit with the bendover stick to bring it down about 3".
Juice-wise, I had been dosing all plants with the same bloom nutes. Since I'm figuring it pheminized, you figure a possibility long veg auto, Little Lucy is getting veg nutes added to the bloom the others are getting. However much smaller she is than the others, the others have slowed way down. I haven't had to move the light for a couple days. But LL is still growing strong.
Light is 17.5/6.5. Don't ask why. I was feeling different one day and took that extra half hour of light. So, LL won't be thinking about flowering until the others are done, as far as the light cycle goes.
