Sudden browning of sugar leaves from the tips inward

Hey all. Here is my fruity pebbles clone (klonz.ca) nearing harvest. My sugar leaves are browning and the buds feel a little soft. Actually the whole plant seems a little hard up and this developed over the past week.

It's in a 5 gallon pot of pro mix organic. I was light on adding liquid nutes through the grow, started using a bloom feed in flower at about 50-60% strength. I have fairly soft water and did not adjust pH. Yes, I will next time.

I also fought thrips and got them under control within a week of noticing. Also at one point recently she was starved for water for about 12 hours later than her normal feeding where I let the pot get light. She was droopy and bounced back quickly with the exception of some crispy leaves.

Spider Farmer sf2000 light at about 55% which may be too high or too close.

I'm afraid of bud rot of course. As you can see the bud I tore apart is green inside and I don't see any brown buds.

The last one is quite gnarly, it dried out the most when I was late watering. Also, the plant is on an angle because it was growing sideways and feelike like it was going to break so I propped it up.

The last few feedings I added some epsom salts because I was worried about nutrient uptake. I stopped feeding nutes as I'm getting close to harvest.

Those were taken yesterday and overnight the browning noticably increased. What do you think and what should I do now?

Thanks for your advice and cheers.

      Hi, Weed. . .
I'll second Gator's comment. The bud pics look close to harvest.

As to what is going on? I'll guess maybe a nutrient deficiency due to pH out of range for a soil grow, or possibly too much epsom salt (magnesium sulphate). You got the bugs under control and the one bud you opened does not appear to have bud rot. Light too close. . ., sure, but at half power?

I'd do a final check on one of the brown, "gnarly buds" for bud rot, just to double check it is not that.

That last pic look at the surface of the large leaf on the lower right hand side and a few other leaves. It looks like it has white stuff all over them. Have a close look. It could just be light reflection but it doesn't look great.

          Looks like thrips.

Thanks, Everyone. Update. The browning has stopped. I took apart a couple buds and they're ok. I'm only feeding it water now and waiting for more trichomes to turn cloudy. There's a few amber on the sugar leaves so I don't know how long I should let her go.

On my next grow you know I'll be pH balancing my water and have a better nutrient schedule.
