Is anyone else using Herbies to buy seeds from ?

if yes, what's your experience ?

Quality of seeds .. germination rate ?

    Hi, Nene.
I have purchased seeds from Herbies for four years. A couple of minor problems years one and two, but all worked out okay. Last two years everything fine. They have a US shipping location now. I think to NZ might be from Spain.
Strains were as represented, almost 100% germination, growing into good bud producing plants.
    Very happy. Will use again.

Thanks for replying .. I have also been using Herbies ..but am having germination issues ..ergo not too happy
I will contact them and see what happens .
I know it is not my method (paper towel) but lately 2 out of 18 actually grew , 5 sprouted and gave up at that stage ..rest just sat there .
I have noticed that the seeds are small and pale .. not ideal

I purchased seeds from Herbies Spain. They were ok. Of 5 Gorilla Glue #4 Auto, one didn't sprout, one grew different and was short and bushy, the other three put out a very good crop. The Skunk grew ok but a liittle short, 1.5m, outside. It may have been the soil and enviroment in the shade. The Carmelo did great outside in a 10 gallon pot! So, they are ok, but not a perfect purchase. Also, all the seeds were packaged in little dime bag zip-lock bags with a stuck on ID, not a regular seed package like you would find in a shop.

I'm having germination issues .. 2 of 18 actually grew leaves , 5 popped and stopped .. the rest just sat there 🫣
I've been germinating seeds for years using the same paper towel method with great success .
The seeds lately are small and pale hmmmmm

I'll contact them and post the outcome .

My latest order was very confusingly labelled..no actual identity just numbers ..

Have you used any other seedlings with success ?

No idea where you are but I stopped buying seeds from overseas a couple of years ago because of Customs the seeds stealers and you really have no recourse with companies outside the US if they screw you (Seedsman). So I buy from North Atlantic Seed Company right here in the US so no Customs involved, tracking #'s you can trust. I recently had 3 of 5 seeds from Ethos that popped and cut their own heads off and NASC worked with Ethos to get them replaced, They are a great seedbank

Something I've thought about packaging from overseas vs US.
A vial of seeds labelled 'OG Kush - Feminized' on company packaging is pretty self-explanatory as to its contents. A dime bag of seeds labelled 'OGKF' means nothing to anybody but buyer and seller. Customs is probably hip to what's going on, but the only way to see if OGKF is dope is to grow it out. It is gray area legal to mail products in the US with up to a certain THC content. Seeds do not have THC so sellers can make with fancy packaging and labels.
My first and only overseas order was from MSNL. It got caught at customs. The paper customs sent me with the object the seeds were hidden in didn't say dope seeds were illegal. It said unknown seeds from outside the US were illegal. (Note: MSNL was gracious enough to replace the seeds without me having purchased the delivery guarantee.)
