going back to vegetative after budding

I have a clone that i was unable to put under 18/6 light so it has started to bud..My question is now that my space has been freed up (harvested) If i put this clone under 18 hrs photoperiod
Will it go back to vegetative ?? thx

I cannot say under indoor light. But I have had 2 grows where for some reason, they budded in June,I pulled the males and cut off all signs of buds. They started to veg,and never saw another bud until late August.

i read where you can force budding by having 30 hrs straight of dark ..something to do with converting something red,,,i wonder if you had 30 hrs of light if it would go the other way and stop budding..??

30 hours of dark will kill a clone, they need as much light and water (sprayed on the leaves because no roots) and they will do their thing!

The clone I had going (yea, I ditched her this morning) Had the tiniest of bud starting. I put her under 20/4 lighting and it stopped that bud in its tracks. After some roots developed and I planted her I pinched it off. had some funky looking leaves at first, There were tiny and all scrunched up looking, but three weeks later she took off in full veg cycle. I shed a few tears when I chopped her.

Yes you can make that clone reveg after it grew buds it very easy just leave them under 24 hour light, trust me I'm doing the same thing now, they will reveg and like insomniaczzz said the first few leaves will grow scrunched and weird but that fine, after a few weeks your hard work will pay off. these are my clones and you can see they have time you buds on them and they have stopped growing buds and the leaves and growing.

Here is a pictorial history of recently departed clone. #1 right after cutting, #2 trying to grow more roots, here is where I thought I would lose her, but perservered, #3 pinched off dying top bud, and transplanted into 2 gal bucket. #4 about a week later, #5 right before I axed her this morning, about three weeks later.

Wannabe, under some unfortunate ciucumstances, we are going to harvest our current grow, get it dryed and cured and take a grow break for a while. Couldn't wait out the clone life cycle.

Yes, it will go back to the vegetative stage if you start giving it 18+ hours of light a day. If the plant has been flowering for a while, the leaves may look a little weird at first (round) but the plant will start growing normally after a few weeks

Yes, the clone in this thread had just started to bud and was placed in 20/4- never got the funky leaves: http://forum.growweedeasy.com/forum/...is-at-home-lol

In addition I have taken a regular seed - after the 3-4 node and placed it in the flower 12/12 tent to sex it.
I hope to catch it before buds appear and then return it to veg, without loosing time in the grow or waiting another month to see it's sex.
It's all bullshit - until you smoke it!
