Hi folks, should i go with the typical 8wk timeframe for harvest or is harvest just a matter of personal preference? I'll also like to know what u guys think about about outdoor organic being better than an indoor grow with fertilizers

Grow guidelines like an 8 wk timeframe are just that, guidelines. At that link When To Harvest at the top of this page there is a wealth of information to consider. IMHO, when to harvest is when the plant says it's ready and has reached max potential. I like mine when the trichomes are cloudy with just a bit of amber.

I am an indoor grower but I would think that growing indoors or out is a matter of personal preference. Or situational circumstances.Growing Autos and Photos, Gorilla Grow tents, AC Infinity fans, exhaust, filter, humidifier, and controller, HLG Lamps, 50/50 Coco/Perlite, Autopot system, BlueLab PH Controller, CX Horticulture nutrients

 Golf,
Two plants with the exact same genetics can finish differently depending on their environment.
And buds on larger plants can have different harvest ready times.
I would suggest acquiring an inexpensive jeweler's loupe to monitor trichome maturity on each plant and harvest at your preferred clear/cloudy/amber ratio. My preferred method.

Can't comment on organics, never done it. Too much work.
