    New filter set up

Hi everyone. Is this set up a good idea I've got 2 carbon filter inline fans 1 is sucking air out while the other is pushing air in is this a better way to do it

I like your setup. There are varying opinions on the forum about where a carbon filter should be mounted, inside or outside the tent. When using exhaust fans, there are only two options, positive or negative pressure. Blowing out will suck the suck in the sides of your tent, blowing in will expand it like a balloon. Two filters might be a bit of overkill for one plant. I use an AC Infinity 4" fan in my 2x4 tent. It runs at 1/2 speed and keeps the lung room scrubbed. Where does your exhaust go? Into the lung room?

If I am understanding correctly that you have a filter for the air you are supplying your tent, I am asking why.
Filters, like exhaust fans, are only effective when the tent is closed.

But why are you filtering the air from your bedroom before sending it to your tent? That will actually warm up the air you were having temperature issues with.
And what golfnrl was alluding to, that is way more supply-and-return than you need. But I would say two is too much for the tent, not just one plant.

So, what's wrong with a pucker tent?
So, what's wrong with a puffy tent?

Somewhere in the middle is a gray area, not puffy or pucker. Let's go there.

One fan will overcome the other and kill the other.

All I was thinking was nice clean filtered air in and filters air out the in fan is set to its lowest setting so it's just a nice cool gentle breeze. Surely filters air in has to be a good thing hasn't it ?

its to restrictive and not cost effective. this is a weed that is use to growing outside. nature will filter the air for it. Filters are for so humans that dont like the smell or to mask the smell from other humans like nosey fukin neighbors or po po. personally i like the smell cannabis in the morning, smells like Victory.

Dirtymike I wouldn't say it's more restrictive as the air is being pushed in so wouldn't that mean more air and co2 which is better ain't it. I'm still new to this haha

The plants need fresh air. How is your lung room ventilated? Does it get fresh air? Is it it's own HVAC zone? If it's somewhat closed then you are filtering used air and putting it back into your tent. Forget the Co2, that's another unnecessary expense.
There's nothing 'wrong' per say about your setup. If that's what you want to do, it's your grow. However, you've incurred some needless expense for little to no benefit for your plants. Indoors, inside a tent the purpose of the filter is to limit the smells. That's it. It's not to provide 'clean' air. You want the air inside the tent to have an exchange with fresh air outside the tent, the exhaust fan does that. You can have an exchange of air w/o the filter.

If you restrict air and CO2 and induce heat with electricity inside a capsule there could be an issue. Physics is a bitch.

All we're saying is one of the two fans is superfluous. The other is only superfluous when the tent is open
