I heard that it was better not to water plants near harvest. I grow plants in pots on my deck and have watered almost every day. they look about ready to harvest, should I let them dry out?

It really doesn't matter.
There is a similar question whether or not to flush before harvest. Whatever you do this time, do the opposite next time and see what you think.Ohm... dab... ohm... -

Usually when people say that they mean 1 or 2 days before harvest, probably not more, it’s dealers choice really. I agree with DabberDog experiment see what works for you.
