This is not fine-looking dope. Coty's are about shot. Leaf tips are yellowing. Coco dope was planted at the same time as hydro dope. Remember, hydro dope started in coco.
Temps are 73°-74°. They might have gone up because I packed the bag a little tighter with more cloth but have since repacked with less. Chasing the pH from as high as 6.3. It just won't stay down!!! Dosing 3/4 gallons with 1-gallon worth of nutes.
I've noticed the water turns cloudy after a while. Had a tinge of green trying to happen on the cup cloth so it got a H2O2 solution bath. Sorry. Had to give it a shot. The plant has not been growing so I don't think the bath did any harm.
Green wire is to keep the leaves off the cloth.

        The autopsy.
Roots aren't bad. I don't know what they're supposed to look like at this point but there's enough healthy root for a healthy plant. Whatever happened, this wasn't a failure. It was simply an experiment I put together on a really boring day.
But I do have the knowledge that what I did, did not work.

          Why did you terminate it?

It was dying very slowly and not growing, CKB, and as soon as the other plants take off, messing with the bowl, bucket, and bags would be too much for the space. I've tried a smaller pot in with the 4 bags, but the 4 bags are about all my 3x3 can handle. A minor consideration is the rise in humidity from the evaporating bag.
The biggest thing I got out of this experiment was a method of cooling water. I can have all the proper equipment and nutrients but if I want to grow hydro, I have to control nutrient temperatures. Although this plant will not grow, I got great results!

I remember reading about using plastic soda bottles filled with water and frozen, then put the bottle in the nut res. Have more bottles in the freezer for change out when the ice melts.

I can see that in a main reservoir, not in a multi-pot system without great pain in the butt. My little 3/4 gallon would start sweating like a glass of water on a hot day.
My method is sustainable. No shock from dropping ice in the juice. I just need a better evaporation solution.
I'm also wondering if the thickness of the cloth holding the perlite was an issue.
