HELP! Feminised plants Produced Seeds

Hi folks. My last crop of Feminised RQS Green Gelato, have produced seeds (30 odd). Yet the crop turned out fine with great dense buds and turned into very smokable weed and brilliant Gummies.
so my question to all you experts out there.
Will these seeds be viable usable Feminised, or should I chuck them out and buy good providence seeds?
Any help would be welcome

If it were a male plant and it produced seeds Id be worried.

Might be feminised might not be, depends if it self pollinated or not.

Sometimes you just can't tell.

why would you get rid of them? they were literally free, it's like burning cash. they're already paid for. the only way to find out if they're viable is to germ. 'em. if the plant they came from turned out good weed why won't they

It's probably feminized seed but the genetics will be a crap shoot. Plants don't always breed true so the plant might turn out like the mother or it might not. Only way to know is to grow it out.

I’m interested to know if you had identified the plant as hermaphrodite during the flowering stage? Did you do anything to try and mitigate seed production?

We dont know if this plant was grown inside or outside. Inside, you had a hermie and the plants grown from those S1 feminized seed will have a greater chance of producing more hermies. Outside could well be a nearby male plant in which the plants grown from them will be ~50% male and ~50% female, or it could be it hermied or a nearby hermie in which the seed would be feminized. Your choice as to grow them or not.

There are only 3 ways to get seeds from a female plant and the number of seeds and their condition can be a hint in the right direction-
• If you’ve bought a bag of bud off the street - more so in the old days - and your bud is loaded with a ton of full - ripe seeds; you can place your bets there’s a male in the area.
• if your buds have ‘some seeds’, your flowers are mature but the majority of the seeds you do find are underdeveloped (white/yellowish) you’ve probably got a hermie on your hands. I wouldn’t use any of those seeds - feed em to the birds.
• If your buds only have a few seeds - some bud packets with no seeds at all and you find what few are there are well developed; chances are good your buds went a bit longer than usual and seeds will be from a rodelized/self pollinated female. These seeds are ‘almost always” female.

Good bag seed is hard to find. count rule. No more than 5 beans in a oz, keep. Been lucky so far. Haven't germed bag seed in a long time though.
