For me they work well outside where I am. I used to get a lot of them, big webs between plants, and leaves wrapped like a cocoon with the little critters making a home inside them. Never had a moth or bud worm issue or any bug issue apart from a few snails or white fly. They seemed to keep everything else away.

Depends on the webs. Spider mites leave webs and they're not the best.

If it looks like your soil has been rooted through, you have spider pigs. They're just looking for truffles.

If they eat bad bugs yes but spider webs on flower usually means mites. No bueno.

I watched a writing spider one time for a month. When it finished the message said, see a shrink!
